Day One Update!

Hey everyone!

Thanks to those that have already gotten their hands on the game, we're looking forward to hearing what you all think about it (feel free to leave a review!).

We've made some fixes and adjustments to the game based on some of your feedback and bug reports- please let us know if there's any new issues with the update, we'll make sure to get to it ASAP.

Here are the patch notes for the September 1st update:

QOL Improvements
  • Added a little comic strip popup when picking up the explosive in Level 2
  • Added a popup warning when clicking on any Restart button (in the death/pause menus)


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the short duration where you could be killed while transitioning levels
  • Fixed the Death count on the death screen not showing an accurate number (in fact, it didn't work at all)
  • Fixed interact inputs not updating if you have a gamepad and/or changed inputs in the settings
  • Fixed being able to resize the window manually (this shouldn't have been possible)
  • Fixed a missing wall in the Mansion, we called the necessary builders to take a look at this obvious issue
  • Fixed the Level Select appearing on the Pause menu (sorry, we weren't supposed to have this in the public version)


Weapon Buffs
It's quite clear that some of the secondary weapons didn't feel like how they should, so we played around with their damage values a bit.
  • Buffed the Shotgun, still has a falloff though
  • Buffed the SMG, still has a falloff though


We'll do our best to update the community on changes and upcoming features/content.

We're currently focused polishing the game and bugfixing, and then we'll be working on a Tutorial and improving the overall experience for players.

Once we have a strong foundation, we'll be working on additional content and mechanics!
