Decision Red Daze Gameplay Streaming!
Greetings, inhabitants of the Dust Bowl, and welcome to Decision: Red Daze!
We’re inaugurating the Steam page with this blog, so first of all, we want to welcome you to our community and thank you for supporting our game. Decision: Red Daze has its own history — it is the fourth entry of a franchise that started as a Flash game, and which very soon became a cult game with a sizable community behind it. But for many of you it’s probably a brand new game, so a bit of an introduction is due — however, don’t worry, you don’t need to play the previous Decision games to enjoy Red Daze!
Decision: Red Daze is an action-RPG game where you play the role of the leader of a group of survivors of a horrific disease that turns people into monsters. You all are trying to survive in the Dust Bowl, a desertic region where extreme heat and sand storms have turned this illness of unknown origins into an airborne disease — the Red Daze. There is no cure known, and it’s now expanding quickly, so human society is on the brink of collapse. As a militiaman turned leader of a group of refugees, you are putting your tactical knowledge and battle skills to the service of your community, leading expeditions into the wastelands to rescue other survivors and hopefully find a way to escape or even cure the Red Daze. You will have to manage your group of survivors to make the most out of their skills and strengths, as well as build defenses to fend off the infected, popularly known as zombies and mutants.
In the coming months, we’ll tell you more details about the world, characters and story of Decision: Red Daze, as well as reveal more elements of its gameplay and key features. But today’s being the “inaugural blog”, we want to give you a taste of what the game looks and feels like. In today’s gameplay video, the developers of the game (indie studio FlyAnvil) showcase and explain the thrilling gameplay of Decision: Red Daze. We invite you to watch it with us and leave your questions in the chat, or later on here in the comments. Good luck in the Dust Bowl, survivors, you’re going to need it!
