December 2021 Dev Update
Phew! We don’t know about you, but the holidays always seem like a second full-time job with all of the baking, shopping, hosting and (overly ambitious) hand-made decorations.

We made it through the holiday season and are happily able to focus on the game again, and there is a lot to talk about in the world of A Little to the Left! In this month’s log we’re going to chat about what we’ve been up to this month, but it’s a little less development related and more about what’s on the horizon.
Secret's revealed
Phew! We did it! We kept the secret safe; the Secret Mode secret, that is. We are proud to announce that Max Inferno have signed with the fantastic Secret Mode crew to publish A Little to the Left! We are just over the moon with this newfangled arrangement, as the Secret Mode team has been beyond wonderful and are so impressively knowledgeable.
“We knew instantly after meeting Annie and Lukas that we had the same drive to expand and enhance the wonderful creativity and fun that was already in A Little to the Left” said James Schall, Director of Publishing at Secret Mode. “The game is such a joyful experience, as was recognised with its E3 accolades last year, and I’m excited to share that with the world!”
With Secret Mode by our side, we’ll be able to bring the game to more platforms, support more languages, and make a bigger and better game. It really is a dream come true.
Nintendo Switch!
In addition to bringing A Little to the Left to PC and Mac, we’re also excited to announce that A Little to the Left will be landing on the Nintendo Switch too! This has been the #1 request from our fans, and we feel like this will be a great way to play, as the structure of the game really aligns well with the pick-up-and-play quality of the Switch. And so with that, we have some revised release dates for you.
A Little to the Left will be coming to PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch in August 2022!
And more, we’ll be releasing a mobile version of the game soon after for iOS and Android in Q4 2022.
We want to bring the game to as many players as possible, so we’ll be supporting several languages on release as well.
So much to tidy, so little time.
With the end of the holidays and a new year upon us (let’s go, 2022!), it’s given us some time to take a step back and reflect on the past year. It’s been… interesting… to say the least. But we are so thankful to be able to focus on making A Little to the Left; this game brings us so much joy, and we really want to make a cheerful and surprising game for you all, and we’re just having a blast coming up with new tidying puzzles.
There’s a lot to do, so it’s time to get back to it. Thanks for reading! Here’s a look at our second tutorial level where we put away all the fun new toys we got in our stockings and get back to work.

Thank you for all your kind support! We can’t wait to share with you all of the magical interactions we have planned for the game, and hope it brings our players as much satisfaction and delight as it brings to us.
Happy New Year! - Lukas & Annie / Halifax Kjipuktuk Nova Scotia, Canada

Annie made these cute paper-mache decorations!
Merry X-Mush to you!
