Patch 2.0.2

Hi again everyone! Here's another small updates with some hotfixes. Thanks again for your feedback, and sorry for the inconvenience!

  • Fixed a bug when some players were stuck while trying to access another map
  • Fixed a bug with enemies encounters happening way too often on the new maps
  • Fixed the broken text in “Hostage” quest

Patch 2.0.1

Hey everyone!

It seems some of you have been getting a black screen when making the transition from the Early Access version to the 2.0 version.
We've identified the issue, which was related to walking too many steps on a previous save.
We love to see you exploring so much, but you can rest easy now and resume your quest.

Sandwalkers Full Release Out Now!

After almost a year in early access, Sandwalkers is finally out with a 20% launch discount!

New questlines
  • Nebulous, Azore, Palatine and Umama questlines are now available with their own maps and monsters!
New Crystal Library upgrades
  • Add 3 more levels to scalable upgrades to match the new endgame progression.
  • Add a new upgrade that increases all Supplies gains.
New Memories
  • New memories have been created to match the new achievable milestones.
New Encyclopedia Entries
  • New Encyclopedia entries have been added to match the new achievable milestones.
Steam Achievements
  • Several new achievements have been added on Steam.
New events
  • Two new events, created in collaboration with Hyruga, one of our early backers!

[h3]UX[/h3]
  • Added a reveal sequence when you reach a place for the first time.
  • Upgrades are now highlighted, making their purpose much easier to understand.
  • The game will auto-save more frequently.

[h3]Sound[/h3]
  • 50+ sounds and 10 musics added.

[h3]Balancing[/h3]
Exploration was too difficult, and fights were too easy once your caravaneers reached level 4. Here’s how we’re addressing it:
  • Increased the number of Supplies tiles you can find in desert areas.
  • Added some low-supplies-cost tiles in the first desert.
  • Cf “New Crystal Library Upgrades”: Added a new upgrade that increases all Supplies gains.
  • Reduced roguelite fight bonus and increased monsters’ scaling.
  • Items’ weight has been reduced, and maximum weight gains through Crystal Library upgrades have increased.
  • Various other tweaks.

[h3]Bugfix[/h3]
  • Pinned quests were sometimes automatically unpinned.
  • Fixed various issues with roads and permanent changes on the map.
  • Quest markers were sometimes not appearing correctly.
  • Fixed various UI overlapping issues.
  • Removed the "Cocoon" effect from the game, as it was too buggy.
  • Many, many other bug fixes related to quests, localization, attacks, and upgrades.

Patch 1.3.3

Hey everyone!

This patch is very very small, we're just fixing one annoying issue ; but since I don't personnally like when I see an update on my game without knowing what's been changed, here's the FULL patchnote for the 1.3.3 version!

Jokes aside, this was a pretty annoying blocker so we still wanted to release the patch as soon as possible.
