Patch 1.3.1

Hi everyone! Here comes the patch 1.3.1 with some hotfixes.

We’ll now be focusing on the Full Release and will give you more details as soon as possible.


[h2]Bugfix[/h2]
  • “Regeneration” effect was giving a wrong feedback
  • Damages were not always impacted by weather as they should
  • Several fixes on attacks upgrades, especially on the Swordman and Aeromancer
  • “Open Wound” effect didn’t impact “Bleeding” damages
  • Various issues on Encyclopedia entries & Memories
  • Several issues with the new “Enter Town” button
  • The hostage wasn’t removed properly after ending the “Hostage” quest
  • Other minor fixes

Update 1.3 out now!

Hi everyone,

While we're still hard at work on the full release of Sandwalkers, coming in Q2 2025 (release date announcement coming soon!), we're excited to share Update 1.3, "Trial of Strength", which brings a large batch of new content and improvements to the base game.

Our next big milestone is v2.0, which will mark the end of Early Access and introduce new questlines leading to Umama. We can't wait to bring you the final version of Sandwalkers!

[h2]v1.3 - Patch Notes[/h2]

[h3]New Content[/h3]

  • Quests
    • Sheitanists are plotting against the Mka in Musawenkosi, and only the caravans can stop them!
    • A new minor quest is also available at Totong after completing the civil war questline.
  • Upgrades have been reworked for all classes:
    • Each upgrade now exists in multiple rarities.
    • New upgrades have been added for all characters.
    • Various fixes.
  • Followers & rarities:
    • Approximately 20 followers have been added to the game.
    • They come in various rarities and can be recruited in cities.
  • New tiles allow you to gather Memory Points, Supplies (for a Bait), Hope and even more upgrades for your caravaneers.
  • Several new events can now be encountered.


[h3]Bugfix[/h3]
  • Fixed missing characters when starting a fight.
  • Resolved various issues with damage calculation.
  • Fixed multiple localization issues.
  • Fixed several quest-related issues.
  • Health gauges were sometimes overlapped by character sprites.
  • The 15th Caravan classes were not unlocked in the Encyclopedia.


[h3]Polish[/h3]
  • Rebalanced most events.
  • Various UX/UI improvements.

Patch 1.2.5

Hi everyone! Patch 1.2.5 is here with new bugfixes (including a major one for a blocker in fights) and some polish as well.

While 1.2.5 was supposed to be the last "Bugfix focused patch", we are not quite exactly where we wanted to be in terms of bugfixes yet, and there will be a 1.2.6 bugfix focused patch in January. We do work on 1.3 in parallel of this patch though, so the new content is being worked on! Can't wait to show you what's coming!

Until then, please find the full patchnote below. Once again, thanks a lot for playing Sandwalkers and for your feedback, that helps us improving Sandwalkers beyond what we could've done by ourselves!

Patch 1.2.5 changelog :


[h2]Bugfix[/h2]
  • Launching a attack that removes debuffs was sometimes causing a blocker
  • The Log couldn’t be open sometimes
  • Details tooltip was sometimes frozen on screen during fights
  • Equiping an equipment during fight setup phase wasn’t updating the stats display properly
  • Units were sometimes changing their attacks’ intention
  • Some texts were not refreshing correctly after changing the language
  • Tamer was always proposing the same beasts with their ability
  • Some sprites were overlapping in fights
  • “Tracking” Hunter ability wasn’t always dezooming as it should
  • Weird stuff happening if a caravaneer died while interacting with a exploration items like Macerate
  • The Hope tutorial wasn’t displayed at the right moment
  • Keyboard’s shortcuts are no longer available on the Fragment screen
  • Some events tooltip were not displayed correctly
  • Various issues with tooltips hovering critical information or gameplay
  • Various broken texts in different languages in :
    • Encyclopedia
    • Achievements
    • Fights
    • Events
    • Settings

[h2]Polish[/h2]
  • Your fragments are now displayed in the top gauge
  • The “level-up / upgrade choice” sequence has been improved
  • The ambush gauge is not displayed anymore during FTUE. It’s also properly onboarded with a small tooltip later in the game.
  • Improve quest pin/unpin UX
  • Small improvements on “Riddle Duel” quest
  • Various small UX/UI improvements
