New Mode drops! New maps arrive! The China-Japan Battlefield is now live!

Today, we bring you a major update, including a new mode and the China-Japan battlefield. Let’s dive into the new combat zones together! [/p][p][/p][h2]New Mode – Classic Mode Now Available[/h2][h2][/h2][p]Classic Mode consists of multiple campaigns, each containing several levels. On the mission selection screen, players can configure various squad templates, adjusting personnel and equipment. After entering a mission, you can deploy pre-configured templates within deployment limits, freely combining troops and tactics to complete diverse combat objectives flexibly and secure victory for your army.[/p][p][/p][h3]Classic Mode will be the focus of our future updates, with more campaigns and armies to be added.[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Currently, Classic Mode includes a tutorial and 6 campaigns with a total of 13 levels:[/p][p][/p][h3]China Campaign:[/h3]

  • [p]Chinese Faction has 6 types of heavy weapons and vehicles and 11 types of small arms:[/p][p]Including iconic weapons such as the C96, Hanyang 88, SIG M1920, and ZB-26[/p]

[p]More equipment for both armies will be added in future updates.[/p][p][/p][h2]New Battlefield Mode Levels[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Two new China-Japan army levels have been added to the Battlefield Mode:[/h3]

[h2]Other New Additions[/h2][p][/p][h3]New Mechanic – Construction System[/h3][p] If a squad is equipped with corresponding items (e.g., sandbags, deployable weapons), both players and AI can build fortifications, set up heavy machine guns and mortars during combat.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Class – Engineer[/h3][p] The Engineer class officially joins the battle. They excel at building fortifications and assembling heavy weapons. In Classic Mode, they can also equip items like grenades at a lower cost.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Item – Knee Mortar[/h3][p] The Knee Mortar, a unique equipment piece for the China-Japan battlefield, has been added. It features rapid deployment, high rate of fire, and squad portability, making it a core item on this battlefield.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Vehicle – Armored Train[/h3][p] Railway armored cars and armored trains are now available. They can only move on tracks and currently appear in the Hundred Regiments Offensive and the Great Counteroffensive campaigns. The Soviet armored train in the Great Counteroffensive is heavily armed and highly durable, serving as a key unit in this level.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Fortification – MG Bunker[/h3][p] A new fortification type, the MG Bunker, has been added. It boasts powerful firepower but limited firing arcs and is completely immune to bullets. Explosives or heavy firepower are required to destroy it. Currently, it appears in the Battle of Kunlun Pass in Classic Mode and will be introduced to more modes and maps in the future.[/p][p][/p][h3]Other Updates[/h3]
  • [p]In Battlefield Mode, the Chinese Faction uses the Hawk III as a ground-attack aircraft.[/p]
  • [p]Added bayonet charge functionality. If a weapon has a bayonet, you can hold V during a charge to execute a bayonet charge.[/p]
  • [p]Improved animations for stationary bayonet thrusts.[/p]
  • [p]Some levels in Classic Mode will feature poison gas shells.[/p]
  • [p]Enhanced visual effects for flare shells.[/p]
  • [p]Balance adjustments for firearms, vehicles, and other equipment.[/p]
  • [p]Implemented bipod deployment for submachine guns, applicable to the FG-42 and Thompson Sichuan.[/p]
  • [p]Enhanced feedback and screen shake effects for kills and explosions.[/p]

  • [p]Added map preview functionality for Battlefield and Classic Modes. When selecting a level, the core scene of the map will be displayed on the right side of the screen.[/p]

Infantry Movement Optimization, Armored Cars Join the Battlefield, and More!

  • [p]Added armored cars for each faction: BA-10 (USSR), Sd.Kfz.222 (Germany), M8 Greyhound (USA)[/p]

  • Optimized some firing sound effects for US light weapons.
  • Added a new tutorial level to Battlefield mode, including explanations of attack/defense objectives, upgrades and shop, stages, final assault, etc.
  • Added a new level to Battlefield mode to replace the original level "Flames Of War"; the original "Flames Of War" level has been renamed "War Rekindled", with the same difficulty but some changes to historical presets.
  • Improved the experience of the "Manor Of Blood" stage in Battlefield mode.
  • When playing as the defender in Battlefield mode, players will now see attack direction warnings.
  • The price increase per level for the "Corruption" challenge has been reduced from 50% to 25%.
  • Optimized the display of the tickets bar when the attackers launch their final attack in Battlefield mode.
  • Defense missions in Campaign mode will now show attack direction warnings on the minimap.
  • Language selection panel will pop up on first game launch; if a non-Chinese language is selected, voice lines will be turned off by default.
  • Added refresh rate setting (now separated from resolution settings).

  • Fixed a bug where players could get stuck when exiting the training camp.

Update on April 29, 2025

  • The infantry mode in the Grand Battlefield now features a ticket adjustment function, offering several selectable tiers and a special "Unlimited Tickets" option.
  • If "Unlimited Tickets" is selected and the player is on the defense, a retreat task will be triggered after 30 minutes of holding out, which will end the game and count as a victory.
  • When "Unlimited Tickets" is selected, the victory will not be recorded in the completion data.
  • The initial ticket count for levels has been increased, and ticket replenishment after completing each phase is now a fixed value.
  • Descriptive text for both attackers and defenders has been added.
  • The UI for Grand Battlefield completion records has been optimized.
  • The respawn issue with attack helicopters in the Grand Battlefield has been fixed.
  • The respawn point issue in some levels has been fixed.
  • Unique team markings and faction icons have been added for the U.S. Army.
  • The UI for the campaign headquarters has been optimized.
  • The AI vehicle vision has been slightly adjusted.

New Content Update

[h2]New Faction – US Army[/h2]
  • All Grand Battlefield maps now support the US Army faction! Players can freely choose to fight as the US Army.

[h2]New Weapons and Equipment[/h2]
  • 18 new US light weapons, 15 vehicles, 7 heavy equipment, and 2 ground-attack aircraft.
  • 2 new ground-attack aircraft for the Soviet Army.
  • 2 new ground-attack aircraft and 1 new vehicle for the German Army.

[h2]New Weapon Mechanics[/h2]
  • Convertible vehicles added: These vehicles have greater firepower and mobility but feature weaker armor, making them more vulnerable to HE and incendiary damage.
  • Controllable ground-attack aircraft: After purchase in Grand Battlefield mode, you can personally pilot these aircraft to devastate ground targets. Currently, ground-attack planes are only available as support rewards, have limited ammo, and cannot be countered by enemies. In campaign mode, attack aircraft remain AI-controlled and cannot be piloted by players.
  • Shotgun category added: Now available as a late-game primary weapon for US assault troops, offering powerful close-range firepower.
Mode Updates
  • All Grand Battlefield modes now support custom battles with selectable factions and equipment levels, as well as standard historical battles.
  • Grand Battlefield mode has been reworked and optimized for a better experience.
  • Infantry mode has been completely overhauled and expanded into a breakthrough mode with selectable attacker/defender roles:
  • Attackers must break through the defenders’ lines before running out of reinforcements.
  • Defenders must hold each line and prevent attackers from breaching the final defense.
  • Armor mode AI optimized for more mobile and group tactics.
Maps
  • Two brand new maps added to Grand Battlefield mode, set during US operations in Western Europe.
  • Three old Grand Battlefield maps have been reworked for a more unique combat experience.
  • Additional map details optimized.
UI Updates
  • Main menu visuals fully upgraded with a dynamic, interactive interface.
  • Campaign mode fully adapted to the new UI.
  • Grand Battlefield shop interface further optimized.
  • Overall UI style is now fresher and more modern.

  • Weather system fully upgraded, with new, more layered weather effects.

  • Camera rendering optimized to improve visuals while reducing GPU usage by about 30%.
  • Combat logic algorithms optimized, reducing CPU usage by about 5–8%.
  • Weather will now randomly change when restarting a level.
  • Graphics performance optimized for a good experience even at low settings.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the training camp could become stuck.
  • Fixed some UI display errors in campaign mode.
  • Fixed an issue where heavy weapon gunners could drift.
  • Fixed an issue where reconnaissance aircraft support failed in campaign mode.
