Get the retro party started!

Hey everyone,
We’re incredibly excited to announce that the Steam version of Zool Redimensioned will be receiving a free content update on May 16th in the form of three local multiplayer party modes!

Compete with up to three friends in the frenetic and fabulously fun new party games:
 • Don your favourite Zool mask and attempt to collect more clutter than your mates in Zool’s Gold.
 • Will you be the one who wears Krool’s crown in Rool of Zool?
 • Play Ball Brawl and boot balls back into the Nth dimension.

The update, along with the game Zool Redimensioned, was developed by the Sumo Digital Academy, a team of apprentices currently studying a development programme which creates new pathways into the games industry. The Academy is the first in the UK games industry to be recognised by the government and the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. To find out more about the academy, visit the website: https://www.sumo-academy.com/

The new content will be available as a free game update on May 16th.
What is One Special Day?
For one day each year, companies, and studios from all sectors of the games industry are invited to raise vital income for the gamer’s charity SpecialEffect and show the world how games can change lives for the better. It’s called One Special Day, and this year it’s being celebrated on 7 October, a milestone date for the charity as it’s their 15th anniversary.

The support of the partners – and their communities – enables SpecialEffect to help the thousands of physically disabled people every year who ask for their assistance. The charity’s teams of therapists and technical specialists provide advice, assessments, and customised technology loans to help transform the lives of individuals with disabilities. In turn, the charity freely shares what they learn with the games industry to help make their products and games easier to use for as many people as possible all over the world.

Last year, over 80 partners raised a total of over $800,000 between them – a record amount that has bought many magic gaming moments to disabled players across the globe.
