1.0 Update 22 (v1.0.53)

Vex debuff duration reduced to 4 seconds (from 5)

4 more Tiers have been added, specifically for use with various Tier-break items and effects. Go wild with your Moon Blessing'd Double-Royal Dragon.

Fixed an exploit in Ranked PVP involving rating losses.

Fixed a rare specific AI logic bug issue that would occur if there is only one allied unit and one enemy unit left on the board, which could cause both Units to not consider each other valid, softlocking the fight.

Added text to the Ritual Dagger for the Blood trait to clarify the Unit must be in play in order to be sacrificed (as you can technically Prepare a Unit, then Bench it, but this stops the sacrifice from working)

Fixed PVP Elvish Empowerment stating the wrong stats in the tooltip when hovering the hex itself.

Blook now secretly clears crowd control on arrival and prevents crowd control to the possessed Unit, which very rarely happened anyway but could result in some odd AI behavior.

Fixed CC cleanse effects not clearing Taunt.

Fixed Slogurk's Crystal passive (mana on cast) when combined with the Scare Tactics ability granting mana regen to its skill target, not itself.

Fixed Slogurk not gaining benefits from the Elemental trait when one of its core selected Traits was Elemental

Removed an old restriction that fully prevented you from starting a fight if you have no Units, as this could technically softlock if you spend all SP without buying a unit.

Fixed a rare issue when loading a run while a unit is equipped with the Cloning Capsule that could cause the capsule to trigger during the load and generate a new unit.

Fixed an issue where Trollgar (boss form) could create more illusion clones than intended.

Fixed a PVP-related issue where if you played against an opponent with +1 item slots, all future opponents would have the UI for 4 item slots (though would not utilize them, as this was a loading display issue only, not resetting the unit slots back to 3 after that fight)

Fixed Run History not loading Ranked run state properly (said all PVP runs were Unranked)

Fixed Lodestones counting towards 'item power' army total calculations

Fixed Tier 6 units not counting towards 'unit power' army total calculations

Re-fixed Devil's Deals with Museum Curator / Tabletop Tactician cancelling their army size modifier.

Fixed Cosmic Matter causing Tier Ups beyond 4. Only the Moon Blessing specifically calls out the ability to do this.

Added a safeguard to auto-release a Unit if the user left clicks while a Unit is already in hand. This should be impossible, but we've seen a handful of rare reports that it can happen. Seems to possibly be related to leaving the game window while a unit is in hand.

Fixed Privileged Position not adding the extra bonus units to the pool as it said it did.

Additional Chinese localization polish

1.0 Update 21 (v1.0.50)

Fixed a major issue where the rewards granted from Champions would be the rewards of the Champion you didn't choose. This also led to potentially having the same Champion as a Rival and an Ally, causing further issues later on.

Fester's healing per second reduced to 4% (from 5%). Fester's skill has been noted by many players as an outlier among the Common units. By offering Damage Reduction, healing and AOE it covers more bases than most - reducing the self-heal should make Fester need a bit more itemization.

Pyro Kit damage and Shield reduced to 20% (from 25%). Small tap to Tactican tier strategies focusing on max-HP payoffs; generally speaking, Max HP values are higher than when Pyro Kit was set to its 25% values.

Fixed an issue where Compendium Trait entries would display sources of bonus Trait pips from your previous runs in the same session.

Fixed an issue where the original copy of items duplicated by the Blood trait would disappear after being used.

Potential fix for an issue where spamming things that can summon the Speech Bubble rapidly could break the Speech Bubble for the rest of the session.

Potential fix for the rare issue where the 'flyer rod' piece appears on non-flying units.

1.0 Update 19 (v1.0.49)

Fixed an issue where your PVP Combat Modifier wouldn't update when loading back into the game to reflect increases to Army Size and Store Rarity.

Fixed an issue where it was possible to duplicate items with certain Slogurk setups.

Fixed an issue where Xanatos was not gaining the intended Mana when slaying a foe with his Skill.

PVP combats will no longer send to the server or load if they had 2 fewer units than the maximum Army Size.

Fixed a typo with the Infusion perk stating it granted less Mana Regen than intended.

Fixed Gale's skill description not triggering the keyword for On Hit

Not sure how one report showed a die result of 0, but added as a safeguard should that ever happen.

Fixed Summoning Shard not properly interacting with a transformed Morphling

Fixed Trait tooltips potentially bleeding past the bottom edge of the screen, for larger Trait tooltips that happen to be at the bottom of the left-side Trait list.

Potential fix for a rare 'lost my Hydra snack' issue.

Fixed Hydra Snacks not having item icons, and were just using the Hydra's character icon (which caused it to have a white background when hovered)

Fixed Hydra missing all VFX attachment point sockets

Clarified Wolfgang's text that he rushes to his skill target even when already transformed (effectively a jump). Adjusted Wolfgang's skill visuals to help clarify this mechanic with a slightly altered animation which has him running for a few frames, and an animated trail towards where he came from when moving far distances.

Fixed an issue where the Weavery (extra enemy banners) challenge climb modifier did not affect the first 2 combats of Act 2 and 3, resulting in those acts being easier than intended in Challenge Climb.

Skeleton revival no longer counts as Healing for purposes of floating numbers, combat recap, Healer trait effects, etc.

Champion Tales now display their rewards at the champion choice phase, rather than only after choosing a champion.

Fixed most Ignite effects not tracking to the Combat Recap

Fixed Engineer Turret being listed as Uncategorized in the recap.

Fixed Potion Belt giving 1 more potion than listed.

Fixed Stifled VFX fading after 20 seconds, even if the Stifle effect is still ongoing (only really seen in the Order Templar fight)

Fixed being able to click and drag units while viewing the Combat Recap

Fixed Champigno's turret damage being listed in the recap as "Skill Bonus Damage", now clearly states Turret Damage.

Leader War Banner renamed to 'Leader Heart', and no longer adds a 'Leader Trait' which doesn't actually have any effect. This was a remnant of an older design that was only acting as a text reminder - it wasn't removed when Arbiter was in play, for example.

Chester can no longer eat Leader Heart or Boss Heart items. Chester starting mana removed (was 25).

Fixed the Sword variant of Slogurk not stating the Sword in inherited 75% of stats, not 100% (it has always been 75% in practice and Sword Slogurk has been doing fine)

Fixed the Breakdance effect sometimes causing units not to resume their normal AI after breakdancing.

Re-fixed Mythics not instantly gaining their overhead traits updated when gaining Into the Best (accidentally broke when fixing the Mythic Banner case)

Fixed an issue where the Factory Furnace Act Modifier was granting a percentage-based boost to Attack Speed rather than a flat amount, which could cause units to spike in Attack Speed.

Fixed two different issues with the Face Painter specialization: only one unit transforming each combat, and units that had transformed once not being able to transform unless moved out and into the hex again.

Fixed an issue where Units promoted to Tier 4 via Cosmic Matter would still appear in the Unit Store rather than being Banished.

Fixed an issue where Gorbin and Xanatos wouldn't visually gain Shields when Shielded.

Fixed an issue where the Toxic Infusion hex would fail to appear in some circumstances in PVP.

Fixed issues with the game breaking if Oogoo somehow died while attached via an 'instant death' effect such as the Seed of Corruption.

Fixed an issue where Oogoo wouldn't be able to summon units via effects such as Emergency Chicken or Seed of Corruption.

Fixed an issue where, if you changed your Options Menu settings from Highest Challenge Level to Vanilla for Instant Start, the game would launch into a bugged state when using Instant Start in that session.

Fixed an issue where, in some cases, it was possible to get multiple procs of Hothead in PVP.

Fixed a performance issue related to Dwellers that would only appear if you hovered the Geogukk statue for a lengthy amount of time.

Fixed some War Banner icons not rendering their trait icon correctly in some cases, showing as a black hexagon

Fixed a case of being able to get traits into a desync'd state, particularly when using Mythic War Banner and a duplicate in-play of the Unit who has that item.

Fixed Tier 6 units having incorrect sell value

Updated Tainted banner layer to be more visible, especially on the Tainted horror banner (purple on purple)

1.0 Update 18 Hotfix 1 (v1.0.46)

Fixed Ignite's keyword description not stating it halves healing.

Fixed Overtime's keyword description still saying it increased Damage and Speed rather than Amp.

Fixed Xanatos' encounter generation logic trying to put Runes on Zombies, which can't be equipped.

Fixed minor UI display issue when Army stats gameplay option is on, and the combatant you are facing has the maximum amount of text.

Fixed a hitch at the end of a run, when going from the Unlocks panel, back to the end of run screen.

Excluded dice number faces from being affected by low graphics settings, so they remain clearly visible and not blurred.

When the stat card is currently up for an Elemental, and then the Elemental red number trait effect kicks in, the stat card will update the red value instead of needing to be closed and reopened to see the change.

Fixed Morphling causing certain configuration checks to fail (such as Singrim's Hyperfocus perk, if it was the unit causing a Stage 2 trait to activate)

Fixed Skill Passive effects being retained when equipping a Skillbook.

Fixed a minor UI issue at end of run screen where the 'Total Mastery' label faded in twice

When facing the Arbiter, Trait icons in the sidebars will have an icon over them helping to remind that no trait effects are active.

The Arbiter can no longer appear in a Devil's Deal combat.

Fixed an issue where Bosses could preemptively be banished when encountering certain combats.

Fixed outdated text descriptions in some cases.

Fixed an issue where the Bounty requiring victory with a Trait wasn't tracking victories with Stage II of a Trait.

Fixed an issue where Kalandre's Mirror didn't function.

Fixed an issue where a Tier 4 Morphling imitating a unit would banish it from the pool.

Fixed an issue where units could gain 100 Armor in rare cases.

Fixed an issue where Deshret couldn't cast on allies.

Fixed an issue where Gourmand could sometimes (rarely) not trigger on-cast effects like Leechknife sheathe.

When opening the Unlocks screen for the first time, this panel now initializes asyncronously with a 'Loading Unlocks...' text while the panel loads. The Unlocks panel is somewhat expensive to load compared to other panels, and one user reported having crash issues when trying to do so on a lower spec machine. It will be barely noticeable on higher end machines, less than a second before the panel loads.

Colossal Heart now adds a little visual indicator on the army size UI to remind that one of the slots has been occupied by the Heart holder.

Fixed Trait and Unit contracts sometimes losing which Trait or Unit they were connected to on the backend when loading a run, which would cause them to become uncompletable.

Fixed minor UI issue where the current Level could not updated upon levelling.

Removed the "unlock 5 game modifiers" achievement as we don't really clearly have game modifiers any more.

Fixed an exploit related to Abandon Ship

Fixed an issue where it was impossible to buy free items from Special Shops with negative gold.

Fixed various text issues.

Fixed an issue where the Giving and Receiving Rings had no effects on enemy units.

The Flamemark now has its own Potion Slot rather than needing to open the Inventory Bag each time it's used.

Fixed an issue where Stalkers weren't receiving effects from Blood or Ritual triggers.

Fixed an issue where units right clicked in the Unit Store could appear to have Cost Reduction they didn't actually have.

1.0 Update 18 (v1.0.45P)

Fixed an extremely esoteric issue that could, in certain cases, cause units on your bench to disappear when using the Spirit trait, Baa'lor, Star Crown or Cloning Capsule content.

Fixed an exploit where it was possible to use Fish Rolls an unlimited amount of times if the player's Pale Hearts were already full.

Fixed an exploit where it was possible to duplicate items when putting a Marksman War Banner on the Marksman Dummy.

Fixed an issue where Chester could give you the enemy's Runes in high Challenge Climb play.

Fixed an issue where the cursor wasn't responding to gameplay, such as hovering or grabbing Units.

Fixed an issue where the Bug swarm wouldn't move more than once in a combat. In addition, fixed a different issue where the Bug swarm wouldn't move at all in certain runs.

Fixed minor UI reset issue that could get your player portrait frame to get stuck in a half-transparent state.
