Firefighting Simulator: Ignite News

Upcoming Hotfix #1

[p][/p]
Attention, Firefighters!
[p]
First off, a huge thank you to everyone for playing Firefighting Simulator: Ignite and sharing your feedback over the last few days. It's been incredible to see how you've been engaging with the game and helping us identify issues that need attention.

We're currently preparing to release a first hotfix early next week. Because this update needs to be coordinated across all platforms for crossplay, we don't have an exact timing for this.

The main focus of this hotfix is addressing as many crashes as possible.

Please note that the download size will be around 25GB, due to changes in compression.
[/p][p]Here is a tentative list of fixes:[/p]
 • [p]Fixed issue where conscious victims would not properly enter the aerial cage when following the player[/p]
 • [p]Fixed input issues on vehicle interactions (Siren, Yelp) while driving[/p]
 • [p]Fixed an area that was almost impossible to extinguish in the mission "The Kiosk"[/p]
 • [p]Fixed holes in destroyed residential roofs: It is no longer possible to fall through and get stuck[/p]
 • [p]Fixed several translation issues[/p]
 • [p]Fixed issues with AI firetruck obstacle detection[/p]
 • [p]Fixed a compression issue on Intel 13th and 14th gen. CPUs. This has sadly led to most content being compressed again inflating the patch file size. We are sorry for the inconvenience =([/p]
 • [p]Improved general game stability[/p]
[p]
[/p][p]Known Issues & Workarounds[/p][p]
While we work on these fixes, here are some temporary solutions for common issues:
[/p]
 • [p]Extremely bright screen on PC: Try changing the Quality Preset in your graphics settings. You should be able to re-apply your original settings afterwards.[/p]
 • [p]If you are experiencing crashes in the mission "Crashing the Party", try skipping the approach when starting the mission. This can help to avoid the crash.[/p]
 • [p]Severe FPS drops when using foam with FSR Frame Generation enabled: Disable FSR Frame Generation in the graphics settings.[/p]
 • [p]Crashes related to GPU drivers: It may help to launch the game with the following startup option: "-clearPSODriverCache". If your problem persists, remove this option again as it will slowdown the game start.[/p]
[p]
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we work to improve the gameplay experience!

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite – Mission Editor

[p][/p]
Attention, Firefighters!
[p]
The PC versions of Firefighting Simulator: Ignite on Steam and the Epic Games Store include an integrated Mission Editor which enables you to create your own missions and to make them available for other players via Mod.io.

Watch our Mission Editor Intro Trailer here:

[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]

After starting the Mission Editor via the game’s main menu, you can choose one of the available random missions of the game as a pre-set and afterwards edit it according your needs. You are able to replace or edit nearly everything within the building, set the starting points of the fire/s, place explosives, place victims and furnishings or even replace the pictures hanging on the walls. For some funny special effects, you can also edit the size of objects if you want to! So, it is totally up to you if you want to create a super exciting or challenging mission, a hell of fires or absolutely crazy things to have fun with!

Please note that creators have to set their modding missions to public on Mod.io to make them downloadable for others. After downloading a modding mission via Mod.io it will become available in a dedicated section within the overview of available missions at the button of the game’s missions list. From here you can start and play it whenever you want to. Depending on the chosen pre-set a modding mission is based on, it can take place on different location on the map. Where exactly will be chosen by random after starting the mission.

💥 Modding Missions on Mod.io can be found here: 💥

So, what are you waiting for?!? Let’s go and start creating your first modding mission! We are already looking forward to your creations!

Your Firefighting Simulator Team 🧑‍🚒

Note #1: Modding Missions in Multiplayer To be able to play modding missions in multiplayer, each of the players have to install the modding mission first. If one or more players haven’t installed it, the mod won’t appear in the list of modding missions!

Note #2: Availability of Modding Missions on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Because of security rules, on consoles modding missions won’t become available automatically after a creator uploaded and set them to public. On consoles you can only see modding mission that got tested and greenlighted by us. We will check Mod.io for new modding missions regularly and try to greenlight as many of them as possible (as long as they work fine and meet the rules). However, we ask for your understanding that this may take some time and that we probably won’t be able to test and approve every modding mission.[/p]

🚨 The wait is over – it’s time to suit up! 🚨
