That’s right, we’re talking about the machete - your new best friend when things get up close and personal!

Originally, we thought it’d be a tool for clearing vegetation, but let’s be honest… this is Alaska Gold Fever. Out here, the real use for a big blade is fighting for survival.

Unlike the pickaxe, which wears down quickly from mining, the machete holds its edge much longer. But you can't use it for mining :D Don't ever think about that !



The shovel is strictly for some basic farming - digging small holes, planting, and maybe even unearthing a few buried secrets ;) . If you’re thinking about using it as a weapon… well, let’s just say the machete will get the job done much better.

And shovel will have no use in mines - a bucket is taked it's place already.
