Chilly DevLogs from Alaska ! #69 - Tiny Treasures
Welcome to a sixty-nine DevLog for Alaska Gold Fever!
Hello, explorers and adventurers!
We are still developing a demo but in the meantime: take a close look at some details in Alaska Gold Fever!
Trinkets and treasures
This week we focused on filling the world with the kinds of small things that make big vibes.
Let’s talk details.
Small, visible assets can add a lot to a game atmosphere!
Examples: You’ll find wooden statuettes tucked away in some of the more "cozy" cabins - think about local craftsman meets haunted souvenir shop.

There’s also a suspiciously clean glass jar turned fish tank, complete with a very resilient little fish who’s somehow survived years and possibly a few frost/defrost cycles.
Lost & Found (Mostly Lost)

We’ve scattered hats, empty bottles, old boots, and mysterious stains throughout homes and hideouts.
Because what’s Alaska without a bit of clutter and character?
Some houses must look like real living spaces!
Two fish with one stone

Outside, old boats got some love.
We hung up a weather-beaten life preserver and added a ladder that definitely looks sturdy. But hey, it works. Usually.

All these assets are small, but together they help bring life (and mild concern for tetanus) to the world of Alaska Gold Fever.
