Chilly DevLogs from Alaska ! #13
Welcome to thirteen DevLog for Alaska Gold Fever!
Hello travelers!
Welcome in Alaska!
How are you guys? Hope it's okay!
Today we cover some insights on local fisherman, an animations bloopers and some lightingbolt action in the West! Let's get started!
Local fisherman
"A pike fish is a king of the lakes and rivers as lion is a king of the jungle" - one wise man once said that. Can you agree? This guy is looks like he seen a lot of fishes in his long life. You can ask him for some advices (not only fishy-matter).

Each townsperson in Alaska Gold Fever will have an unique role. Like this fisher-guy you can buy some canned food from him (with fish inside of course) or acquire some fishing rods, equipment, bait etc.

Modeling an unique model for a person is a nice challenge. Just admire these details on the face and head!
In this screenshot a face has a "default" expression, i know it looks kind of funny :D

Also a quick tutorial for all 3D-modelers and artists.
How in one easy step make a zombie out of fisherman?
Just grab a jaw, take it higher and it's finished !! Mr. Zombie is ready to attack !
Animations bloopers and some action
Okay time for some funny stuff ;)
Animating objects is hard and time-consuming task especially a human-looking game objects.
I collected some really weird and funny stuff that "happened" during development ;D You can see it here!

He walks like he doesn't give a damn :D

Well, almost normal? But look closely when he begins to move :D
Action!
Okay, we had a laughts but all those bloopers leads us to the fully animated hostile NPC that we are going to use. Here is a short GIF of them in action! Now they got a cool and fluid animations!
Making games are some much fun, believe me ;)
