Hello travelers!

Welcome in Alaska!
Today i gonna show you some new characters and they jobs in Alaska!

It is you?! Or maybe some other gold seeker in town :D
Everyone has that one friend who always choose a female characters in RPG, right :D



From concept art to 3D model. Looks nice , right? But she miss a pickaxe...

[h2] Shopkeeper - to keep your shops ;)[/h2]



Remember him from previous devlogs? Here is his concept art.
As name suggest he runs a shop. You can buy here this and that.
It's important to use what mankind can offer and buy some canned food or kerosene lamp!
You don't need to gather food and supplies only in Alaskan wilds and forests ;)



First concept art, then some raw meshing in 3D and later a textures etc. Do you like his beard? Bankster moustache was cooler ;) Check in previous devlog!

[h2]Details on 3D models[/h2]



Let's see some details on 3D models. Details on characters are things that stands out.
It's important in design to give something unique to the character!
It can help to better remember this person ;)



A cane and a sack of gold. I like how this cane have some frightened wolfie on base 3D model and later it turn out to this angry and dangerous wolf :D



Sack of gold ! Yeah, gold. Or just copper coins? You will never know because shopkeeper keeps his sack very close to him and won't show you how much he have!
He says he constantly have no money on this business but yet he keeps buying new horses and
beard-trimming stuff... hmm...



[h2]Character's roles[/h2]

Don't do that in real life! Give only good food for every dog you can ;)


Remember - in town you can talk to almost everybody. Talk is cheap (often for free).
You can deal businesses with shopkeeper. But he can probably have some quest for you too!
Try to earn his trust so maybe he will give you better prices! (probably not gonna happen)

A traveler or other gold seeker can give you good advices about gameplay (did they know they are in game?!) so speak up!



I also wanted to show you this. A concept art for Inuits. They will be in game and it's very cool to have some original characters like them! Can't wait to see a 3D model in action :)
In real world history they are interesting people, i recommend to read something about them and their culture!
