In our last devlog, we introduced the rocky coastline—a dangerous and beautiful place where the land meets the sea. But among the jagged cliffs and crashing waves, one thing stood out: an old wooden ship, stranded near the water’s edge. Today, we’re revealing the mysterious figure who calls that ship home.



He’s not a fisherman. He’s not a sailor. And he’s certainly not a friendly hermit.
Meet The Stranger—a man with a past as murky as the waters around his ship.



Wrapped in a heavy coat, boots caked in salt and mud, his hood pulled low, and a mask covering his face, The Stranger doesn’t give much away. His voice is raspy, his words carefully chosen, and his past? That’s something he doesn’t talk about.



Despite his eerie presence, The Stranger isn’t just some ghost haunting the coastline—he’s a businessman.

Players can trade with The Stranger, but don’t expect a fair deal. His prices are high, and his requests can be… unconventional. But if you need something rare—old weapons, contraband, or strange artifacts—he’s your best bet.



The Stranger is just one of many unique characters in Alaska Gold Fever, each with their own stories, deals, and mysteries.

In Alaska Gold Fever, every location tells a story. Our latest addition to the world is a rugged rocky coastline, where towering cliffs meet the restless waters.





The coastline is a place of raw beauty and danger. Sharp rocks jut out from the churning waves, and narrow, uneven paths wind along the cliffs.



This isn’t just a place for sightseeing—hidden caves and weathered shipwrecks hint at untold stories and forgotten treasures.
But beware, the terrain here can be treacherous, and a misstep could send you tumbling into the icy waters below.



Standing proudly is an old wooden ship, lodged near the water’s edge.
It looks like it’s been there for years—its hull battered, its sails long gone.
But despite its worn appearance, it hasn’t been completely abandoned…



Ropes are still tied in place. Lanterns hang from the deck. There are signs that someone has made this ship their home. But who? And why have they chosen to live in such isolation?


And in our next devlog, we’ll introduce you to the person who lives in the stilt house. Who are they? Why have they chosen to live in such isolation? And what stories do they have to share?

In Alaska Gold Fever, the visuals are just as much a part of the experience as the gameplay itself. From majestic mountains to serene forests, every detail of the world is designed to immerse you in the untamed beauty of Alaska.





Each biome in the game has its own distinct feel—from frozen tundras to lush pine forests—making exploration a visual treat.



Climb to the highest summits and gaze out over sprawling valleys dotted with shimmering rivers and winding trails.



Keep an eye out for the local wildlife!
Alaska is home to a diverse range of animals, and you’ll encounter them throughout your journey. Moose gracefully roam the plains, but remember, not all animals are friendly—tread carefully in bear territory!

In Alaska Gold Fever, it’s not just about finding gold—it’s also about taking in the breathtaking landscapes and immersing yourself in the vast wilderness.





One of the most thrilling aspects of the game is the ability to traverse and explore the towering cliffs that dominate the landscape.




As you make your way along the cliffside, you’ll notice the uneven terrain beneath your feet. We’ve designed the walking paths to reflect the ruggedness of the cliffs themselves—expect steep inclines, narrow ledges, and sudden drops that will keep you on your toes



We’ve put a lot of thought into how the cliffs sound, too. As you walk, you’ll hear the crunch of gravel underfoot, the echo of your footsteps against the rock walls, and the distant whistle of wind rushing through the canyons.
In the future i will upload a let's say ALASKA ASRM on our YT channel with those sounds :D



The lighting along the cliff paths changes dynamically throughout the day, but it’s at sunrise and sunset when the magic truly happens. A famous "Golden Hour" (good moment for photography)

Hello, adventurers!
Today, we’re excited to share more details about the rugged landscapes of Alaska Gold Fever. From towering cliffs to golden fields of grass swaying in the wind!





Cliffs in Alaska Gold Fever are not just towering rock faces—they are integral to the game’s atmosphere, giving a sense of scale and raw beauty to the environment.





Each cliff in the game is carefully sculpted by hand using Unity’s terrain tools, making sure the rock faces appear jagged, uneven, and weathered by the elements. This method allows us to create unique formations that feel natural and alive.





Some of the mountains are capped with snow, while others are barren, showing the harshness of the environment. In certain regions, players will encounter mountains with patches of melting snow, highlighting the transition between seasons (my fav type of enironment!!)





In certain open areas and valleys, the grass turns a beautiful shade of yellow, creating a stunning contrast with the rugged rock formations and dense green forests. These golden fields add warmth and richness to the environment



The cliffs, mountains, and yellow grass work together to create a cohesive and immersive world.
We can’t wait for you to explore these stunning environments yourself. Keep an eye out for more updates as we continue to fine-tune the visual and gameplay elements of Alaska Gold Fever.
