Update 8.3: I'm Back! Controller Fixes, Wyatt Redesign, Bull Riding + More ❤️
Hi everyone,
It’s been a while since my last update. I moved cities, bought a new house, experienced some interesting new hobbies, and exhibited Cornucopia at PAX EAST in Boston. After years of pushing nonstop, the buildup turned into burnout. So I stepped back for ~5–6 months, gave myself space, and completely realigned and reflected deeply on why I started creating this game in the first place and where I want to take it now. I looked deep inside myself—past the surface level and into the depths—and re-emerged with clarity and alignment, ready to kick some butt again! PAX EAST was a massive success for us, and since it ended, I've been working on this update for you all, with more coming soon!

[h2]🔧 Important Controller Bug Fixed & Other Bug Fixes[/h2]
✅ Fixed a major controller bug that was stopping all tool use on Steam Deck and gamepads under certain conditions. If this ever affected you, I'm sorry — the bug and the root cause were finally discovered after 4 days of player observation at PAX East on Steam Deck and some deep analysis.
✅ Fireworks Festival camera angles fixed.
✅ Hidden treasure? The “secret” invisible mushrooms in the Old Mines? Now fixed.
[h2]🎨 Wyatt’s New Portrait Design![/h2]
Wyatt got a full redesign with 9 new portraits to better suit his personality. I’m really proud of how he turned out. Look out ladies :P
[h2]🧠 Community Requested Feature: Card Quality of Life[/h2]
Thanks to feedback and a Discord community poll, you can now remove Buff/Quest cards from your active slots without deleting them! Save them for later to improve your buff strategies.
[h2]🕹️ New Bull Riding Mini-game![/h2]
🐮 NEW: Mechanical Bull Arcade Game — located on the second floor to the right in the Arcade!
🐔 The Chicken Dance Minigame is now always available in the arcade — not just after you attend the Chicken Festival!
[h2]🌍 Chinese Language Progress[/h2]
We’re making major progress on an official Chinese language update, thanks to our incredible community translator 粉色大猫猫 (Kira Yoshikacat). His translations for Simplified and Traditional Chinese are included in this update, along with many translated textures. Our Chinese artist is now reviewing all translations for accuracy and working on the remaining in-game textures. Once these are complete, we’ll announce the official release soon.
