🌟 Major Update 7.4: Emotions Come to Life, Adventures Unfold 🌿

Hey everyone! I'm excited to bring you a big update packed with major improvements to gameplay flow, character interactions, and visual immersion! The world is more lively than ever, thanks to our new emote system that adds depth to every interaction 😊💬, along with a fresh progression system to make your journey smoother. Plus, we've added new V3 portraits, cutscenes, and gameplay features! Here's what's new:

Emote System: 50+ new expressive emotes breathe personality into your favorite characters.
Progression Mode: A more structured, player-friendly experience with linear quests and smoother pacing.
V3 Portraits: Gorgeous new portraits and translated menus make the world even more vibrant.
New Cutscenes: Enhanced story moments, including fishing with Mr. Fuji and Penelope’s composting lesson.
New Features & Tweaks: From personalized starting seeds to smarter tutorials, Cornucopia feels better than ever!

[h2]New Emote System[/h2]

50 New Emote Animations: Characters now express themselves more vividly with a wide range of emotes.
Cutscene Integration: Emotes add life and personality to character interactions in cutscenes.
Weather Indicator: When you wake up, an emote will show the weather for the day.
Gift Reactions: Characters will display emotes based on whether they love or hate the gifts you give them.
NPC Interaction: Repeatedly hitting NPCs triggers an angry emote.
Critical Health: A special emote displays when your health reaches a critical level.
Pet & Exhaustion: An Emote now appears when your pet passes out.

[h2]New Cutscenes[/h2]

Fishing Rod Cutscene: You'll now receive your fishing rod during a dedicated cutscene at Mr. Fuji’s Seaside Supplies, rather than at the start of the game.
Stanley's Gemstone Cutscene: Stanley’s Gemstone Reward is now delivered through a new cutscene instead of by mail.
Penelope’s Cutscene: Penelope introduces composting and the magnifying glass in a new cutscene. She gives you a magnifying glass and her Gem Fruit as part of this interaction.

Seasonal Seeds: The birthday season you choose now affects your starting seeds (Rooted, Fibrous, Leafy, or Plump Seeds).
Tutorial Shortcuts: A "?" icon has been added to the toolbar, giving you easy access to tutorial popups.

Meet the Townsfolk Quest: A new quest to meet 15 characters in town has been added to help introduce you to the community.
Your Shipping Bin Starts Repaired: Your shipping bin now starts fully repaired. Several tutorial quests and popups have been disabled or delayed to avoid overwhelming new players.
Munger’s Letters: Feed Munger five days in a row, and he’ll send you a letter with a special item he dug up on the farm.

[h2]Enhanced Enemy Encounters:[/h2]

Higher chances for Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary Enemies to appear.
Larger, more noticeable enemy models without changing their strength.

[h2]Progression Mode[/h2]

New Progression Mode: Available in character customization (On by Default, this mode introduces pacing up to the Spider Boss fight, making the early game feel less overwhelming.
Linear Gemstone Quests: In this mode, Gemstone Quests follow a linear order, starting with Naomi’s Foot stuck & Hideout Quest and progressing through Stanley, Vincent/Brianna, and the Spider Boss.
Old Mines: The mines remain closed until you've advanced in Penelope’s Gemstone Quest.
Card Packs: These are disabled until Stanley’s Apple Gemstone Quest is completed.
Skill-Up Rewards: Available only after Brianna’s Orange Gemstone Quest is completed.
Item Adjustments: Munger now sends the throwing ball in summer instead of at the start, and the storage shed includes two random breeding nuts.
Winter Cutscene: This farm cutscene now triggers later, after Brianna’s Gemstone Quest is complete and the mines reopen, followed by a cooking tutorial popup.
Animal Breeding Tutorial: The breeding popup in the barn is disabled until you’ve obtained your first cow or horse.
Drop Types: Drop types on the farm are limited during the first two weeks to simplify the beginning.

[h2]Intro Adjustments:[/h2]

Changed the positioning of Rufus, Munger, and the player during the intro and arrival at the farm.
Naomi’s secret hideout can now be triggered starting at 6pm, instead of 8pm, outside Granary Level 2.
Hotbar automatically switches to slot one when entering the farm after the intro.

[h2]V3 Portraits[/h2]

Updated Visuals: Remaining character portraits have been updated to newly designed V3 versions.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

Fixed an issue where Naomi’s bridge cutscene would incorrectly switch the camera.
Resolved Naomi facing backward in her hideout cutscene.
Fixed a bug where moving the fishing rod from the hotbar would leave the bait circle on the screen.
Corrected an issue where the fishing bait slot wouldn’t appear after dropping the rod from the backpack onto the active hotbar.
Fixed a bug where reloading a save on day 2 could result in receiving two random trees.
Resolved the energy bar incorrectly refilling after being depleted.
Fixed a strange bug where the wizard appeared at midnight after planting seeds.
