Thank you for your incredible feedback on and support of Railroader! We're continuing to work on bug fixes and stability, as well as making plans to put together a public roadmap - stay tuned for that!

  • Finance panel: Added $5,000 +/- loan buttons.
  • Fixed water tower only clickable from 20 meters away (now 50). (RR-112)
  • Fixed error when purchasing new engine that would have been "101" when another car has road number "X101". (RR-119)
  • Fixed anglecocks still being slightly open when the tooltip says "Closed". (RR-137)
  • Fixed P-18 wheelslip due to incorrect characteristics. (RR-108)
  • Fixed progression locations showing up in sandbox mode. (RR-107)
  • Fixed cars in switch list showing Hemingway as the location when they are within the Bryson radius. (RR-136)
  • Fixed typos in AI Engineer guide, Andrews locations. (RR-120, RR-121, RR-127)

Train people are dang pleased with this line operations sim because it's not too hardcore, nor too simple

Railroader 2023.2.2

A few more bugfixes for today:

  • Fixed issue that could cause terrain tiles to not load, which appears to have been contributing to a memory leak. (RR-92)
  • Fixed Copy to Coupled affecting cars not owned by your railroad. (RR-109)
  • Fixed Automatic Waybill Cycle button not clearing when both are Not Set.
  • Fixed interchange-spawned cars with a reporting mark that matches yours getting marked as owned by your railroad, preventing them from being despawned when the interchange is served. To fix existing saves, switch to sandbox mode temporarily and delete the cars. (RR-111)

Build 2023.2.1

Releasing Railroader has been a bit like standing trackside, hearing a train in the distance, and then having all of your senses overwhelmed by the rush of sound and color. We've heard great things from many of you, and we also know that there are bugs that are affecting others of you. We're working hard to address these issues. Thank you for your patience!

Multiplayer Join has been reworked to make it easier to find the railroad you want. Now you can enter the reporting mark of the railroad you want to join in the Search field (example: "CRR") and the game will show you railroads matching that mark. We've also adjusted the settings to search for more distant games. Give it a try and let us know! (RR-98)

Adjusted Automatic Waybill behavior to fix waybills being set incorrectly in specific cases, such as the East Whittier Coal Loader. We've also added a "Cycle" button to the Car Inspector which forces the car's waybill between its two destinations. (RR-97)

  • Added six bridges between Rhodo and Andrews.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent saves from loading due to switch list data. (RR-94)
  • Fixed Shift-R working to manually push car while standing on it. (RR-96)
  • Fixed errors in "Controls" section of EETT. (RR-99)
  • Lettering is now limited to 100 characters.
  • Fixed Wilmot crossing pad.
