Patch v1.129 (Main)

- Fixed Player possibly getting stuck inside of the Upgrade Statue after jumping into its pool.
- Fixed a specific issue where if you were to walk off the ledge into a deadly pit without jumping after you previously jumped off into it and it teleported you back to the grounded area, it would not teleport you into the correct position, causing you to get stuck underground.

Other stuff: I am currently not working on much HND related stuff since my brain is rotten, aka I am out of ideas for some boss reworks. If you have any ideas or thoughts, feel free to get in touch. I am still here to fix the bugs.

Updated demo version returned to Steam.

So if you want to torture someone by making them try out the game... you can.

I've adjusted the code to make demo building easier, so if I ever need to update it I won't need to suffer through duping the entire project to make changes.

Also a minor update was pushed to fix a graphical glitch in the first level because the crowd didn't render properly. Why? I don't know. Build vs Editor differences are dumb. If there's anything else broken, let me know. Still all ears on this.

Patch v1.128 (Main)

Sorry, I was recovering from the surgery for the past month so there hasn't been much going on in terms of updates.

I was mostly lying down and sleeping.

Yeah I don't announce stuff like that, but that's the excuse if you were wondering.

In this extremely tiny update there's just two fixes.
- Fixed an issue where blocked damage counted as "real" damage done to the player, this affected the final score calculations.
- Fixed eternal nightmare not showing the correct rank after completing a mission. It was always supposed to show S.

There was also an issue someone reported with the Total Results screen not working properly, but I was unable to reproduce the problem. I finish the mission on the difficulty, the rank shows up in the proper spot... so If you've got more information on that, let me know. I'll take a look into it.

To be quite honest there's also more going on now. I am not very motivated anymore, I still get occasional notes mentioning how the game is janky, clunky, floaty... you get the point. But at this point I have no idea what's the real issue.

Is it the first magnetic pull you towards the enemy so the first hit lands better? That could be turned off. If it's the culprit, I could always adjust the default setting so it's off by default.

Still, I believe I have fixed all the major issues and have no issue playing the game even after not touching it for a month, but some people still feel this way even after many patches.

It is okay, we're all different after all.
I just wish I could understand what exactly is the problem so I could at least try to work on it.

Patch v1.127 (Main)

give me your liver.

- Malice's projectiles can now be parried/reflected.
- Malice's attacks have been de-randomized, instead he attacks in a pattern.
- Malicereceived additional attacks, will now switch between grounded and flying state. Basically, the projectile spam has been reduced a lot and it's better to fight overall as now you get to use your normal grounded moves a lot more often.
- Fixed an issue where the Sinner mode was set incorrectly in a cutscene.
- Sinner gauge no longer "unlocks" for characters that is not Shamir.

Patch v1.126 (Main)

Look at me ma, I work on two things at the same time.

- Added a missing effect to boss Seth's lunge move.
- Adjusted Dominika's battle theme a bit. Yeah it's kind of why I didn't put the new tracks into the soundtrack just yet.
- Adjusted it so that one memory fragment in the final fight spawns properly in the air.
- Adjusted the last boss fight music to be less ear grating.
- A certain spoiler boss now teleports in preset positions instead of random positions. That prevents him from teleporting behind the invisible wall in Tower Of Blood.
- Bosses with player-esque movement tag no longer have snappy animation transitions, so the Knight no longer gets a seizure when you are locked on on him in a specific distance.
- Fixed Seth's fire spit aiming at the wrong direction. (WHY did I have 4 different projectile spawning methods in code...? What a mystery. I don't know either.)
- Fixed boss Knight's physics for the juggle attack.
- Fixed the difficulty setting not properly applying in the training mode. (Oof.)
- Slowed down attack animations of boss Knight to be more readable. He suffered the most from this. No more sudden unavoidable juggle.
- Other minor fixes.
