We have a new update to test on a separate branch!

[h2]Here is how to find the branch with the update[/h2]
- You must have Sengoku Dynasty in your library – obviously.
- Open your game library.
- Right click on Sengoku Dynasty.
- Open properties.
- Select the tab "BETAS"
- Use the drop-down menu and select “releasecandidate“. This is the public stage version.
- Click "Close".
- Steam should now download this version of the game.

[h2]Saves [/h2]
We do not guarantee that saves created in the test build will be compatible with future public versions of the game. As a precautionary measure please backup this entire folder somewhere else on your hard drive if you test the branch: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\SengokuDynasty\Saved\


The update consists of

• Added a safeguard measure against specific crash types
  

[h3]CHANGED[/h3]

• Optimized region UI textures for less RAM usage
  

[h3]FIXED[/h3]

• Fixed infinite loading on a season change after loading a save or when a player has no assigned bed.
  
• Fixed the focus loss after saving a game while using a controller.

Another update, bringing those fixes to PC:

• Fixed an issue where the Easter Swamps Region was not marked as liberated on the map after completion.
  
• Fixed an issue where the Mountain Region was incorrectly shown as liberated after liberating the Iwasaki Region.
  

For the purpose of completeness, these changes for the consoles:

• Improved game stability for fast travel.
  
• Improved stability during season transitions.
  
• Optimized Virtual Texture Pool usage to enhance stability.
  
• Made adjustments across various areas of the game world to further improve stability.

• Improved stability by adjusting Mesh Distance Fields and Mesh Distance Shadows.
  
• Added virtual keyboard input locales (e.g. Japanese characters).

Another update today for you that ensures cross-play parity along with these fixes for PC:

[h3] FIXED [/h3]

• Fixed no input registering on the gamepad after the season change window if a dialogue is kept open past 1 AM.
  
• Fixed no input registering in dialogues when “no tool” warning appears.
  

For higher visibility these are the console changes:

[h3] CHANGED [/h3]

• Updated the session code generation flow.
  

[h3] FIXED [/h3]

• Fixed instances in which cross-play was still possible with the cross-play option being turned off.
  
• Fixed an issue that caused a mismatch of save times, resulting in the game not properly saving progress (wrong spawns, inventory loss, quest progress).
