The Sword Update - February 26th 2025
Hello everyone,
I’m excited to bring you another major update! This time, I’m introducing the Sword Editor, allowing you to craft custom swords with a variety of blade, guard, grip, and pommel combinations. This update expands the level of customization in the game, making it possible to create a wide variety of 13th century swords.
Alongside the sword editor, I’ve made several improvements to faction customization, horses, and overall visual polish while adding more historical detail to seasons and equipment.
The sword update
By 1270, medieval knights relied on well-balanced swords designed to counter mail armor while remaining effective for cutting and thrusting. Swords of this period featured a variety of pommels, guards and shapes. Many swords bore inscriptions, including religious phrases like “In Nomine Domini” (“In the Name of the Lord”), maker’s marks, or mystical symbols believed to bring divine protection.
With the new Sword Editor, you can now recreate and customize these historical weapons in great detail!
