Voor De Kroon update - October 13th 2024

Hello everyone,

In this first update of October I have now fully integrated the tournament logic into the 'game world'. Tournament arenas now spawn dynamically in the right location just like castles which will tie them closely to the campaign you are playing. The arena can also change based on the type of castle that is built in that location.

This will be iterated on in the next few updates.

Voor De Kroon Update - September 6th 2024

Hello Everyone,

Today's update contains many improvements for your campaign experience and is the first of a couple of patches aimed at enhancing the campaign.

The update adds a flat map at the maximum zoom level. This will allow you to get a quick overview of the current game situation. It has three modes: Game Status, Ownership, and Town Heraldry. Switching is seamless and can be done with the press of a button or by simply zooming in and out.




The patch also includes enhanced tooltips for resources, showing how they are influenced on a global scale. Camera controls are also improved, and you can now zoom out much further and travel faster based on your height.

The campaigns are split up again into the 'Friso-Hollandic Wars' and 'Conquer All' campaigns. This allows you to choose the preferred start safety and campaign length.




Some important things to know:
  • A critical bug causing resaved custom campaigns to not be save game compatible has been fixed, all currently saved games are compatible with this version, only older save games from 2 weeks ago and prior will be broken
  • Press TAB or controller Select/special left to switch map modes, alternatively you can zoom out far enough an dit will fade into it or press the button in the upper left corner
  • Resource Tooltips have been enhanced, now showing where what resource comes from and what your global costs are
  • The campaign is split up again in a conquer all and friso-hollandic campaign
  • I fixed the last controller input issues, you can now scroll all windows with the right thumbstick and all content except the campaign editor is fully accessible
  • Legacy savegames of the old campaign map are now permanently blocked and the content has been removed
