[p]Hey there, Dealers![/p][p]Our team at Movie Games is happy to bring you the next Drug Dealer Simulator 2 patch and hope to keep up the pace. Read what’s new below.[/p][p][/p][h3]Patch Notes:[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed the map markers for discovered but not yet purchased hideouts which wouldn’t properly display. Now they appear on the map after approaching a “For Sale” sign near a hideout.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue with first customers not appearing on the map after loading the game.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue when, after loading the game, previously unlocked dealer spots had to be unlocked again.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the “Sales Multiplier” option in the Cartel panel not working properly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where creating a multiplayer session with the PC being offline caused a black screen.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where the host exiting the game using Alt+F4 would make the guests unable to rejoin without restarting the game.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the sound options issue causing some sounds to be fully audible despite lowering the volume.[/p][p][/p]

[p]Heya Dealers, we continue our mission of improving DDS2. 
[/p][p]So, the new patch is now live. Here’s what’s been fixed:[/p]
  • [p]After changing the keybind, in-game triggers no longer show the default key.[/p]
  • [p]The bug with lights flashing on medium and high Global Illumination Quality settings.[/p]
  • [p]Quests “Set up a dealer’s cabinet” and “Hire your first dealer” no longer update at the wrong times.[/p]
  • [p]Added a new pop-up informing about the situation that when the player first gives drugs to a dealer and then makes them a distributor, the drugs disappear and cannot be recovered.[/p]
  • [p]SPOILER! – Fixed the bug when the cave thugs can attack the player after choosing their side. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed the bug when queued orders show up as a black tile in a calendar.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the texture of billboards in-game.[/p]

[/p][p]We reached the next step of our mission to elevate the DDS2 experience - and fixes are a key factor in it. Here’s what’s improved.
[/p][p]Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue of drugs sometimes disappearing if there’s no space in a hideout stash.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where players in a co-op session could not preview the private island villa.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where the jetski for embarking yachts disappeared in a co-op session when one of the players used the yacht.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where the yacht would not always be moved to its new position when using fast travel.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where throwing away and picking up a backpack resulted in some items disappearing from the backpack when the player had an item in the hidden slot.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where hideout raids would not launch properly after a player was caught during a raid for the first time.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where changing the seat in a vehicle made the previous seat unusable anymore.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the issue where yachts would become unusable after running out of fuel despite refueling.

[p]We’re continuing to iron out the game’s technical issues. We believe that expanding a project without it being technically sound would potentially cause a lot more problems. You can’t build castles in the sand, as the saying goes. And so, we’re dedicating a lot of time to making sure the quality and stability of the fixes. 
[/p][p]Internally, the game has many intertwined elements that resemble a very complex knot that we have to untangle. This means not only meticulous programming work, but also repeated testing. Our priorities are chosen by the criteria of problem severity (e.g. can it block an online session? Can it throw you out of the game?), and the chance of it occurring during your gameplay.
[/p][p]Thank you for continuing your DDS2 experience. We don’t want to hype up or oversell what we intend to fix. We believe that the game, changing for the better, should speak for itself. We’re listening to your feedback and applying it - not just in the form of DDS2 fixes, but also as features of DDS3, which is in active development.

New Update Is Live

[p]We present the first update made by our internal DDS team. More updates will follow next year.[/p][p]Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the crash that occurred when trying to purchase an item with a placeholder icon.[/p]
  • [p]Prevented the situation when saving the game while on a boat blocked the character in the boat. Please note that saves made before this update, that blocked a character, will not unlock it - this fix isn’t retroactive.[/p]
  • [p]Visual options now work and apply changes to the look of the game. Note that despite this, it is known that choosing lower visual settings does not significantly improve the frame rate since the game is system-demanding in other areas. We intend to handle this in a later update.[/p]
  • [p]Leaving a vehicle by a passenger no longer causes the vehicle to be permanently blocked.[/p]
