๐Ÿ“ (Hotfix) Editor and hotkeys - EA 2025.04.25 ๐Ÿ“

We've rolled out a small hotfix to address an issue in the editor and with the x120 speed hotkey.
  • Fixed an issue where the game could crash in the editor when inspecting the animal data while there was no animal data generated yet.
  • Fixed an issue where the time slider could not be set to x120 (x1200) speed with a custom hot key binding.

The full release brings you a new historical scenario about the Counts of Lenzburg, new buildings and decorations, tons of improvements and more! To celebrate the full release, the game will be available on Steam at 40% off for the first time! ๐Ÿฐ



To get ready, todayโ€™s update brings tons of improvements: two beautiful new starting maps, a new hygiene system with soap, a cesspit UI, tons of polish, and smarter, more immersive village life! ๐Ÿงผ๐ŸŒ„๐Ÿ“

  • New Starting Maps: The Lakes and The Hills are now available in the Kerzoven scenario!
  • New Item: Soap ๐Ÿงผ Crafted at the Apothecary, soap boosts hygiene and is used in cleaning upgrades and sanitary buildings.
  • Cesspit UI: Shows whatโ€™s happening and how it works.
  • New Warnings: Get alerts when food is scarce, including tips to troubleshoot.
  • Guild House Tips: More helpful information about child and adult education policies.
  • Pause Quests & Tasks anytime to better control your village flow.

Patch Notes 2025.03.13

New Features:
Added Item UI to track item production, consumption, storage, and upgrade usage.
Introduced alternative faith buildings to expand spiritual options in your settlement.
The root cellar can now store cheese.

Gameplay & Balancing:
Pregnancy duration adjusted to match human aging speed.
Slightly reduced apprenticeship time for better progression.

Children & Apprenticeships:
Kids can quit their apprenticeship if they make no progress.
If the educate children policy is off, apprentices can quit when needed.
Apprentices will no longer upgrade buildings where no one is working.

UI & UX Improvements:
Speed settings now visually display 1/10 of the old speed for better clarity.
Community centre immigration UI is now clearer and has an improved layout.
Needs UI: Improved color markings when someone is learning.

Bug Fixes & Stability:
Fixed rare crashes related to
Trade history updates.
AI losing items during delivery after loading a save.
Faction UI collecting data at the same time someone died.
Need UI tooltip requesting a location list during an update.
Modding: Automatically fixes building rights if missing when people are already present on the map.

Additional Improvements:
Diplomacy quests in Kerzoven have been made more engaging.
Added candle models to small light sources for better visual detail.
