Update 0.099a. Various changes and fixes

  1. Minor changes in the logic of the save and load UI screens, including checking of the save file for compatibility with the game version.
  2. Balance changes:
    • The radius of structural damage by projectiles has been slightly reduced. Flooding areas from heavy projectiles should now be slightly smaller.
    • Slightly increased the chance of fire spreading to adjacent compartments and deck areas.
    • Slightly increased fire extinguishing efficiency.
    • The mechanics of estimating the distance delta between ships, which is used by the AI, have been slightly changed. AI artillery fire accuracy should now suffer more from changes in distance between ships.
  3. The game is now actively plays with centers of mass of ships after they are declared sinking. This made ship sinking more realistic.
  4. A couple of minor UI changes have been made.
  5. Many bugs fixed.

Update 0.098a. Autosave functionality and a couple of bugfixes

  1. Auto save with an interval of five player turns has been added. The ability to change the interval through the Settings screen will be added later.
  2. Increased the opacity of the inactive show object report buttons to make them more noticeable.
  3. Slightly increased the damage to modules from fire.
  4. A couple bugs have been fixed.

Update 0.097a. Bugfixes and changed the wind on projectiles effect


    1. The calculation of wind effect on projectiles has been changed in order to reduce the wind effect on light projectiles.
    2. Several bugs have been fixed.

Update 0.096a. Bugfixes and reduced AI accuracy.


    1. The ability of the AI to estimate how the distance between ships has changed per turn was worsened. This will make the AI less accurate in artillery combat.
    2. Several bugs have been fixed.
