0.122a. Bugfix for a critical bug with the new artillery firing history map mode

Update 0.121a. Bugfixes and a new display option for artillery firing history UI

  1. A checkbox ‘Show all ships on the artillery firing history map’ has been added to the settings screen, which allows you to enable or disable the display of all alive ships on the artillery firing history map.
  2. A couple of graphics optimizations of the main menu 3d scene were made.
  3. Slightly increased the volume of vertical waves spray sound effect for most ships.
  4. A couple of minor UI changes have been made.
  5. A couple of bugs have been fixed.

0.12a. Reworking of armor model and torpedoes turn logic

  1. The armor model of all ships except Majestic has been reworked in order to increase the performance of large explosions. Openings in armored decks above magazines were modeled.
  2. The number of projectiles that explode when an artillery turret is damaged is now randomized, and the maximum possible number of projectiles has been increased.
  3. For barbette artillery mountings, when the turret is damaged, an explosion can now occur not only inside the turret, but also inside the barbette, which significantly increases the chance of establishing fire in corresponding magazines compartments.
  4. The formula for calculating the initial velocity of projectile fragments has been slightly changed to increase the velocity.
  5. The inertia of ships has been significantly increased.
  6. A ballistic table button and an UI window have been added to the weapon control phase UI.
  7. Torpedoes movement turn now doesn't switch the camera to torpedoes in case of a large expected distance to any ships. In this case, only a text label is now displayed, notifying a player that torpedoes are moving.
  8. AI now uses torpedoes visibility to initiate evasive action. The fact of launching torpedoes is now detected by the AI only at a relatively short distance.
  9. Sound effects for underwater projectile hits and explosions have been added.
  10. Sound effects for spray particle effects have been added.
  11. A couple of bugs have been fixed.

Update 0.112a. Bugfixes and damage model changes

  1. Changed the blast hole area formula to make holes from smaller explosions much larger.
  2. Ship collisions now cause significant amount of structural damage to nearby bulkheads.
  3. A couple of bugs have been fixed.
