[p]Lushfoil Photography Sim VR releases today as free DLC! You can download the DLC in your game library under 'properties' or from the game store page.

Really happy to finally be putting this out. I've always loved VR as an interactive medium and how immersive it feels, and lushfoil always seemed like a perfect fit. Working in VR is a huge challenge though, game systems become very complex, and I'm also personally still battling with VR motion sickness, which makes long development sessions quite hard. But Lushfoil VR provides such a cool new way to experience the game and take photos, so I'm really happy I pushed through. I hope you enjoy it!
[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]- A Few Disclaimers -[/p][p]- Due to the graphically demanding nature of VR, the visuals have been significantly compromised compared to the desktop version, in order for the experience to feel more smooth. VR still provides a satisying level of immersion, and compelling new ways to traverse and shoot photos, but if you're looking at experiencing the game in the highest fidelity, the desktop version is still the way to go 👍[/p][p]- I am also still actively searching for bugs and issues. Lushfoil VR Releases December 5!

[p]hey everyone, it's been a while! got a few things to share today: Lushfoil Photography Sim VR will release as free DLC on steam, on December 5th. It's been a slow process trying to get this approved but we're finally there! excited for you to all get your hands on it.

Since lushfoil is looking like it's finally wrapping up, I've been thinking a lot about where to take things from here. I'm really grateful to anyone has asked me if I'm doing another project, it makes me feel like it'll be worth it to keep going and try to put out something new.

So I've started prototyping for a new game project. Lushfoil was a huge undertaking and things would usually take a long time to get done, but from now onwards I'm hoping to share things much more often.

To help me be more productive, I've also decided to moving away from most social media platforms, especially with how tiring it feels lately. I'm going to prioritize posting updates in these places: [/p][p]

sorry for the wait, had a lot of compilation issues this month, but we made it through 😓

- updated to unreal engine 5.6
- changed engine from a source build to native build (should be more stable, to help with compatibility issues and crashes)
- fixed lago di braies sky not appearing
- fixed black loading screen
- added cancel to long exposure photo when camera is put down
- prevented photo archive animation from playing in fullscreen
- fixed yamadera softlock when using "unlock all" cheat
- other small fixes/tweaks
- re-added multiplayer (hidden behind cheat code- check discord for this)

- added 'unlock all' command to locations menu, press " < > < > < > " while the menu is open
- made environment unlock requirements slightly lower
- fixed cropping on long exposure + lens fixed focal length
- added B&W filter
- "G" godmode toggle hotkey (only used while godmode is already active)
- fixed ambient sound cutting out on some environments
- essential mardi himal progression fixes
- fixed resolution selection issue on some setups
- fixed output resolution being stuck on 1080p
- fixed 'save to disk' accidentally being switched off
- fixed digital camera zoom
- fixed kite behaviour on high framerates
- fixed camera smoothing incorrect menu selection
- prevented fish from flying (hopefully) 🙄🙄
- fixed 'upscaling' selection with controller
- decreased time it takes to unlock 'enthusiast' achievement
- fixed line through fushimi inari sky
- prevented duplicate tips from appearing
- prevented photo browser next/prev keys from switching music
- fixed yamadera photo board not de-spawning
- added subtle wave position influence to SUP
- prevented fast travel from SUP
- fixed item wheel not appearing when GPS is unlocked
- smaller per-level fixes, like glitches, falling out of bounds etc
