A hero’s journey is never-ending, and it's time for you to seek out your next adventure to grow your reputation as a LEGEND of the Wild West. Now that you have (hopefully) discovered Grit Corps devious plot to exploit all the lands in the Wild West it’s time to saddle up and venture further into the prairie and put an end to their greedy plans. Get ready to explore the mysterious Dread Valley, in “The Haunting of Belleville”.

In your journey through Dread Valley, you’ll feel the heat of the scorching environment as we introduce the overheating status effect. We advise wearing the dashing Fat Rascal hat for optimal temperatures and a spiffy look. Despite its dangerous nature, Dread Valley offers many valuable resources. Keep an eye out for tin, bronze, and glass, allowing you to craft new items like bronze tools and upgrading your lasso.

As if the extreme temperatures were not enough of a challenge, these lands are also full of dangers, including Night Terrors, venom-spitting snakes (which apply a new type of acid damage), and spiky piercing cacti. And as always, when there’s trouble Grit Corp. is usually involved, so be careful around The Grit Corp. Lab site and the Grit Corp. Driller.

Nestled in the middle of Dread Valley, you’ll find Belleville and its spirited townsfolk. Chat with characters such as Reverend Book and discover the town's history, help its residents, and unlock the ability to craft more items such as your very own Brewery. Quench your thirst with a cool pint of Prickly Beer to beat the heat. Complete quests on the Belleville ledger to obtain recipes for new building elements like green wood walls, doors, church windows, bells, and more.

“The Haunting of Belleville” introduces a more dangerous section of the prairie, offers new places to explore, quests, resources, and craftable items. We don't want to spoil everything in the patch notes, so grab your friends, explore Dread Valley, and share your adventures and thoughts with us on our Discord, Twitter, and Steam Hub.

See y’all in the wild, cowpokes!

Best,
The Don’t Die in the West Team
