More beta test for reworks/balancing!
In this beta patch we focused on reworking/balancing out actions/mechanics from Sothis :sothis:, Orion :orionastrea: and sentinels.

Important Note: All new actions currently have temporary icons/names and all of the new text is currently only available in English. All of the changes in the beta version are subject to change.

To access Astrea beta version:
  • Right-click Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles in your Steam Library
  • Select Properties...
  • Select the Betas tab
  • Click the Beta Participation dropdown and select the "beta" branch

[h3]General[/h3]
  • Removed Fast Purification score.


[h3]Balancing[/h3]
Neutral
  • Decreased sentinels prices, now every level costs 150 Star Shards.
  • Reworked Sentinels break mechanic, now when a sentinel breaks it will be repaired after 1 whole turn, at the start of Draw Phase, before drawing dice, which means it will draw dice normally on the turn that it is repaired. For instance, if a sentinel breaks Turn 1, it will be repaired at the start of Turn 3 Draw Phase.
  • Buffed Solar Plexus Level 5, increased Discharge from 1 to 2 and die minimum Area Purify value from 1 to 2.
  • Buffed Armillary Sphere Auto-turret to 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8.
  • Buffed Astrolabe Level 5 die to 2 x Inventive 3, 2 x Inventive 2, 2 x Inventive 1.
  • Buffed Unknown Device Replicate action, now it increases the chance of its die becoming an epic each level, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%.
  • Buffed Protostar Level 5 Max Corruption from 10 to 12.
  • Buffed Colossus Hand, increase Max Corruption by 1 on all levels. Added starting Empower from level 2 and on, 0, 1, 2, 3, 6.
  • Balanced Charged Pylon, changed Auto-turret to be 3 on all levels.
  • Nerfed Dice Drive, removed Healbot from all levels. Changed Max Corruption to be 3 on all levels. Added 2 Draw 1 die faces to Level 5.
  • Balanced Autonomous Beacon, changed Auto-turret to be 3 on all levels.
  • Buffed Punch dice values. Added 1 Draw 1 die face on Safe Die. Added 2 Draw 1 die faces on Balanced Die.
  • Buffed Reroll Purify, now it triggers whenever a die is rerolled (even when sentinels reroll die).
Hevelius
  • Defiant Alarm can appear on Chapter 1 again.
Austra
  • Updated Apian Lamp description to make it clear that Purification coming from Random Confuse also is dealt twice.
  • Updated Resonant Buzz description to make it clear that Purification coming from Random Confuse also triggers Resonant Buzz.
  • Buffed Celestial Dew, now it also works with Hex Die. Now it also increases Critical Multiplier by additionally 2 if the action is Random Confuse, which means that it will increase by 2 because the action is a Confuse action of any type and 2 more because it is a Random Confuse. Changed its description to make it more clear that the Critical Multiplier will be increased for each matched criteria.
  • Buffed Electrostatic Field, now it also works with Random Confuse.
  • Buffed Aerial Needle, now it also works with Random Confuse.
  • Nerfed Clarity Whirlwind, now it deals Purification for each Random Purify action on player's hand before turning Purify action of any type into Random Purify action.
  • Nerfed Wind Glide Safe Die values. Changed Balanced Die to be Risky Die.
  • Nerfed Rising Gust dice values.
  • Removed Confuse Balanced Die.
Sothis
  • Balanced Behenian Chakram, now whenever the player receive Corruption from Affliction, Light Shield is ignored.
  • Buffed Bone Khopesh, now the Corruption dealt to player is not increased by any Corruption modifier, but it can be blocked.
  • Buffed Chanting, now Starter Die doesn't make the player lose all Chanting anymore.
  • Buffed Sunny Flares Safe Die values. Added 1 Draw 1 die face.
  • Buffed Glass Daggers Safe Die and Balanced Die values. Added 1 Draw 1 die face on Safe Die. Added 1 Glass Daggers 2 die face on Balanced Die.
  • Buffed Relief Safe Die values. Added 1 Draw 1 die face.
  • Buffed Sun Ray, now it increases Soul Heat by 2 when below 10 Soul Heat.
  • Buffed Soul Intensifier, now it applies 2 Relief to the target when below the required Soul Heat.
  • Buffed Spread Essence, now it applies 2 Relief to the target when below the required Soul Heat.
  • Buffed Solar Lullaby, now it applies 1 Relief to the target when below the required Soul Heat. Now it doesn't reset reset player Soul Heat anymore.
  • Balanced Refreshing Mantra, now it increases Soul Heat by 2 when below the required Soul Heat. Now it decreases Soul Heat by 1 when equal or above the required Soul Heat. Changed Balanced Die to be a Safe Die.
  • Buffed Precision Mantra, now it increases Soul Heat by 2 when below the required Soul Heat. Changed Balanced Die to be a Safe Die.
  • Balanced Void Mantra dice values. Now it increases Soul Heat by 2 when below the required Soul Heat. Now it decreases Soul Heat by 2 when equal or above the required Soul Heat.
  • Balanced Astral Mantra dice values. Now it increases Soul Heat by 2 when below the required Soul Heat. Now it decreases Soul Heat by 1 when equal or above the required Soul Heat.
  • Buffed Cleansing Conflagration, now it also applies 1 Affliction to a random enemy.
  • Buffed Purging Eruption, now it also applies 1 Affliction to an enemy.
  • Buffed Fiery Projection, now it also applies 1 Affliction to player and it deals Purification equals Soul Heat amount multiplied by half the amount of Affliction the player has.
  • Buffed Eclipse Blast, now it is not a Mandatory Action anymore. Decreased Balanced Die Eclipse Blast 7 die face to 6.
  • Buffed Spiritual Burst, decreased Minimum Soul Heat 0 action Area Corrupt 2 to 1.
  • Buffed Desert Protection, changed Minimum Soul Heat 0 action from Area Reinforced to Player Reinforced.
  • Buffed Ghastly Fire, decreased the amount of Soul Heat decreased by playing it from Reset to 0 to decrease by 5.
  • Nerfed Forge Chanting, now it has 5 Forge Chanting die faces and 1 Dissolve Life die face.
  • Buffed Soul Stigma dice values, added 2 Affliction 1 die faces.
  • Buffed Hourglass Mastery dice values. Now it has the Timeless keyword on itself.
  • Hourglass Mirage Risky Die won't appear on Chapter 1 anymore.
  • Fire Breath Safe Die and Balanced Die won't appear on Chapter 1 anymore.
Orion
  • Buffed Cosmic Orb, increased Purification dealt from 2 to 4.
  • Buffed Karma, now the Corruption dealt to player is not increased by any Corruption modifier, but it can be blocked.
  • Reworked Comet Convergence, now it applies 1 Cosmic Dust to player and deal Purification to any target for each time Cosmic Orb was Cast during the battle.
  • Removed Comet Shower Convergence dice.
  • Reworked Catalyst, now it applies X Astrium to player when Astrium is triggered.
  • Buffed Catalyst Convergence dice values, changed Balanced Die to be Safe Die.
  • Balanced Volatile Reaction. Nerfed dice values. Increases Catalyst gain from 1 to 2.
  • Buffed Ultranova dice values. Changed Area Purify action to Ultranova action that deal X Purification to all targets and has the Timeless keyword on itself. New dice values are 1 x Ultranova 80, 1 x Ultranova 5, 1 x Ultranova 4, 1 x Ultranova 3, 1 x Ultranova 2, 1 x Ultranova 1.
  • Buffed Nebula Cascade dice values. Now it also applies 2 Astrium to player.
  • Nerfed Devotion Cascade dice values. Removed Safe Die values. Now it also applies 2 Astrium to player.
  • Nerfed Prediction Convergence, now it moves player Orbs Clockwise 1 time.
  • Nerfed Magistral Replication, now it decreases Astrium by 4. Changed Safe Die to be Balanced Die, now it has 5 Magistral Replication die faces and 1 Dissolve Life die face.
  • Buffed Conflicted Purging dice values.
  • Buffed Celestial Regret dice values. Added 2 Draw 1 die face on Safe Die.
  • Buffed Stellar Synthetization dice values, added another Stellar Synthetization die face. Now it also applies 1 Astrium if player has less than 9 Astrium.
  • Buffed Order Synthetization, now it also applies 1 Astrium if player has less than 9 Astrium.
  • Removed Vow Reinforcement die.
  • Changed Fragility Pact requirement from Karmic Orb to Cosmic Orb.
  • Buffed Merciful Convergence dice values, changed Balanced Die to be Safe Die. Now it also Casts Karmic Orb once.
  • Buffed Karmic Exchange, now it also Casts Karmic Orb once.
  • Buffed Conjure Safe Die values, added 2 Draw 1 die faces and 1 Purify 1 die face.
  • Buffed Equivalent Conjuration dice values. Added 1 Equivalent Conjuration 1 die face to Balanced Die.
  • Buffed Unstable Conjuration dice values.
  • Buffed Cleromancy, now it applies 1 Light Shield to player for each die discarded.


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed Nocturnal Updraft dealing more Purification than it should.
  • Fixed Augmented Welding setting current Corruption wrongly when applied.
  • Fixed Trident of Depths not applying additional Wave when playing High Tide.
  • Fixed Resonant Buzz triggering with Purification coming from any source.
  • Fixed Duplicate Dice skip button softlock.
  • Fixed Bond Duplicator not applying Link: Boost if sentinel already had Link: Boost.
  • Fixed Link: Boost not being applied to Hevelius if sentinel already had Link: Boost.
  • Fixed softlock when player had Charged Body and Dicesmith Hammer would defeat the last enemy of a battle, then Charged Body was triggered by Dicesmith Anvil.
  • Fixed softlock when player had Charged Body and Lacertian Beam would defeat the last enemy of a battle, then Charged Body was triggered by Stardust Garb.
  • Fixed player not being able to play Amplify die when player didn't have any Purify 1 in his hand, but a sentinel or enemy had a Purify 1.
  • Fixed Bottled Aurora not triggering Reroll Purify.
  • Fixed Obscure and Blighted Soul triggering on the first turn of the battle.
  • Fixed Player Vorpal Plate not being applied and dice getting stuck to mouse.
