Hello space lovers and welcome to the Next Fest Demo of Jump Ship! πŸš€
[p][/p][p]We're officially live now friends! But we sneakily tested the game for a couple of days last week and gotten some great feedback and been fixing stuff since then. So we have another patch in time for the start of Next Fest![/p][p][/p]
New pilot hud and steering!
[p]We hear you and we have tweaked and changed how the ship steering works to be more aligned with other games and hopefully it will feel more snappy and less clunky. So the pilot crosshair got new UI![/p]
• [p]Changed feel of turnspeed to follow a curve rather than a linear movement[/p]
• [p]Increased turn rate when ship is still[/p]
• [p]"Press Any key" ignores modifier key+Tab, so you can now ALT + Tab without skipping the cinematics now[/p]
• [p]Fix to make sure you can move around when tutorial starts[/p]
• [p]Gamepad: Piloting Up is now correctly bound to the North button (Y)[/p]
• [p]Hopefully fixed the looping sound from the loading/jump sequence[/p]
• [p]Added option to play audio in background when tabbing out[/p]
[p][/p]
And for your information the demo includes:
• [p] The opening tutorial prologue
[/p]
• [p] A few missions in the first map region
[/p]
• [p] A couple of ship components to unlock
[/p]
• [p] Basic player and ship customization
[/p]
[p]All multiplayer functionality is available, so play together as up to 4 players (or solo!)
You are free to replay the available missions as much as you want until June 16th which is when we plan to end the demo. [/p][p][/p][p]Any feedback, suggestions or bug reports can be given in our Discord!
We also have a link to an official feedback form on the main menu of the demo, and filling that out helps us a ton!

And of course - leave a Steam review if the demo was to your liking and made you feel happy to be a gamer. That also helps us! [/p]
