PixelOver 0.9 Animated 3D

Hello, here a main new update ! Adding rigged 3D import (only GLTF/GLB for the moment), key bindings, translation and more.

GLTF 3D scene import. Behave as one object to allow synchronization when modified externally.






List of shortcuts with possibility of key bindings.





Added multiple languages support (French, Spanish and Chinese). It's the first version so don't hesitate to report missing or bad translations.

PixelOver 0.8.3 Views and backups

Hello, new update ! Adding views (normal buffer, depth buffer, ...) for export, backup system and a lot of minor improvement. Translation is still in progress and will be added in a future update.


Rigged models animation with GLTF import and more will come in next major update.

Adding several views preview which can be exported. Layers can also be separated and transparent background can be filled with a color for export.





Adding backup system to retrieve files from previous sessions.





3D containers to easily animate. (not for rigged model animation, which will be implemented on 0.9)





Adding polish for edges. It prevents small sub-lines to be displayed.

Improved sprite sheet import. Better visualisation of cells and added setting to choose cells number.





Improved scene tree. Added collapse/uncollapse all button. Filtering disables selection for parent that does not pass the filter. CTRL+A to select all.





Added one more frame to animated image to be able to loop. Also put a higher frame than maximum loop the animation. (animation of 5 frames if you put a key with frame 0 and a key with frame 10 it will loop 2 times)




Improved animation, with second/frame unit switch and rescale length with keys.




Better display of the errors especially when exporting files.




Compare tool is not longer a tool so it can be enabled with any tools.




Replaced mask for lines by colors line, to display a line between two colors.

PixelOver 0.8.2 Performance improvement

Paste image from clipboard for Windows and Mac users. (should be implemented for Linux users soon)

Improved performance for loading project, adding, deleting and moving objects, zoom.

0.8.1 (lags with 3 bones animation)


0.8.2 (no problem with 5 bones animation)




Added option to use less CPU/GPU. (Not activated by default because it slows down the interface)




Set max size for new project instead of size. Small max size improves performance.

Importing image with fit canvas checked didn't well resize for each ratio.






Fixed 3D transform and gizmo for skewed basis and not square canvas aspect.

PixelOver 0.8.1 Materials improvement

Hello, here a small update to improve and fix 3D models import.

Materials are now easier to manage for 3D mesh. Each material isn't yet manageable but should be possible in a future update.

Improved .pixelover file structure (preventing objects ID to change everytime) and improving load speed. Project can also be saved as old structure to be openned on old PixelOver version.




Setting to choose default opening files folder.




Added cell size input for sprite sheet import.




Improved gizmo rotation. It's now possible to rotate on axe in front of us. Also added gizmo for 3D layer.




Added predefined zoom % (100%,200%,...).



Palette can now use up to 256 colors.




Added EULA in the files, this let you know for example you own exported files so you can use them for personal or commercial projects.

Fixed issue with some UI elements display improving a bit UI GPU side performance.




Internal lines weren't well displayed with adjustments.






.mtl with global path textures weren't loaded.
