BIC Feedback & Gratitude
[p][/p][p]Thanks to all the feedback we received during BIC, we were able to polish Connected Clue even further.[/p][p]Compared to our first showcase at BIC in 2023, the response this time was even more enthusiastic—making our game one of the most-reviewed titles at the event.

Current Progress
[p]QA is now in its final stage, and we’re currently working on English and Japanese translations of the main game.[/p][p][/p][p]During this translation period, we’re also preparing various content to keep players engaged and interested.[/p][p]Meanwhile, development of our next project’s prototype is also underway. 2025 Comic World SUMMER / BIC Connect Pick to be held in Korea
[p][/p][p]A demo version of "Connected Clue" will be displayed at Comic World SUMMER at KINTEX in Ilsan from July 19th to 20th in Korea.[/p][p][/p][p]Along with the PC version, the mobile version is also installed, [/p][p]Please visit the IC_10 booth and enjoy the game and give us lots of feedback! Development status update
[p][/p][h2]Add the ability to open the map page immediately when you click a mini-map [/h2][p][/p][p]We changed it to open the map page of the detective notes immediately when you click on the mini-map during play. [/p][p]This allows you to check your current location with a large map and set up navigation to specify your destination. Improved keyboard operation


Connected Clue is designed to play with keyboard and mouse, or game controller.
We improve the inconvenience of operating the existing keyboard and adjust it to play games with just the keyboard.

In addition, when the player stands still without manipulating the character, the manipulation guide is displayed.









Mobility improvement


In mobile play, the player's movement due to the manipulation of the virtual game controller ,
It has been improved to move more smoothly in determining mutual objects and manipulating mini-games.



In addition, we solved the game screenshot save and import system of when storing on mobile.







Resolution response


Because the default resolution of the Connected Clue is 1920 * 1080, there was a problem that some UI was not displayed correctly in other resolutions.

Therefore, to support the resolution of various monitors and mobile devices
We are conducting tests to respond to various resolutions.











Optimization progress


We use Sprite Skin and Spine, which are our own animation tools supported by Unity Engine
However, due to the calculation problem of Sprite Skin and Spine
If there were many objects displayed on the screen, the frame rate would drop.


Optimization was performed to address this phenomenon, and the average frame rate could be improved dramatically.




그리고, 게임 기동시 기존에 30초 가량 걸렸던 로딩 시간을 대폭 단축해서 보다 쾌적하게 플레이할 수 있게 되었습니다.





Steam Mac OS Support


High Sierra support for Mac OS on Steam has been discontinued, making games with x32 architecture impossible to run on Steam.
x64 architecture has been applied to the game build to allow the game to be played on Mac OS.



I also fixed a bug that didn't find save files and screenshots when saving and fetching steam clouds from Mac OS.





Getting ready to respond to Steam Deck


A virtual keyboard must be displayed when text is entered to support steaming.

Therefore, for future steam deck, virtual keyboard was displayed.
The virtual keyboard is available not only on Steam Deck, but also on the Big Picture version.



In addition, we are constantly testing the game to see if there are any inconveniences to play with the game controller .





The current development situation


I finished my own QA of Early Access version and asked publishers to do professional QA and language translation .



During the QA and translation time of the full version of the game, May-July Tzum will send you a link to play the early access version to your supporters.

The Early Access version covers demo versions through Chapter 2 and has a playtime of 3 to 4 hours .

We will inform you of the details in the future development log.






2025 PlayX4/July Comic World


From May 22nd to 25th , 2025 PlayX4 and
Comic World scheduled for July will each participate as a booth.

Since I was a one-man developer, I had to keep the booth by myself, so I had one demonstration monitor in the meantime,
This time, we will deploy additional demonstration devices for testing mobile devices .

The demo version is updated at every exhibition, so please play it and give us a lot of feedback.
I'll let you know the detailed schedule and news later.
