Bug fix

  • Consumable items such as "rarity increase" or "bonus level" work correctly.
  • Equipment level achievements are correctly taken into account and ranks have been added.
  • The visual effect of stunning the player has been made more visible and an animation has been added.
  • Boss kill achievements are no longer visible when you have killed a “small” boss, only epic and legendary bosses will have notifications.
  • Generic bosses now have a name that corresponds to their identifier, allowing them to diversify compared to the current version and especially for me to more quickly identify which boss your are talking for balance or bug report.
  • The boss in the crypt of the Granock Citadel region (in the southeast) has correct animation.
  • The boar boss in the swamp does his skills correctly.
  • The demon boss in the swamp uses all his skills.
  • The Enchanted Mountain Tower Mage Boss uses all of his skills.
  • The demon boss in the southwest of Granock Citadel only uses these fireballs when he has 40% of his health, his attack zone is not visible from the start with an area on the ground. Its cold channeling radius is much more easily visible.
  • Boss summons work correctly, this concerns the following 3 bosses: skeleton in the Citadel of Granock, Skeleton in the tower in the swamp region, the skeleton dragon in the crypt of the town of Granock.

0.1f

  • Specific restoration attempts for certain players have been carried out in recent days, without real success due to a corrupt file during the Unity crash. To get around the problem, I created a backup file in the event of a problem, which you can recover if necessary with in-game explanations on how to do it (link from the main menu which has been redone).
  • Inventory correctly shows 0 gold when you start the game instead of 5000.
  • The descriptions of the debuffs and dots you suffer are correctly visible on the interface just above your action bar.

0.1f backup recuperation

When Unity crashes mid-game, it corrupts save files. Since it concerns Unity directly and not actually the code implemented, I have more difficulty finding a quick fix to the problem.

Update 0.2 will have a slight overhaul of saves to more easily target corrupted files and have a better chance of finding where bugs created by Unity come from. So also a reset of the saves, knowing that new quests and card events are planned anyway, so quite a few modifications at the start of the game.

So I put a backup recovery system in place.
Your files will be backed up every 15 minutes to an additional file.
To change your corrupted backups to your recovery backups, here is how to do it:

  • Close the game if you are in it.
  • From File Explorer, enable hidden files.
  • Go to the save files on the disk where the game is located, in my case: User => PC => AppData => LocalLow => OrtharionProject => Ortharion The Last Battle.
  • Make a copy of the “SaveAdditionalData” file just in case.
  • Delete the “SaveData” file
  • Renamed the file "SaveDataAdditional" to "SaveData".

That's it, you can close the file and launch the game.

bug fix

  • The Resurrection Pillar can be accessed in the northwest of the Enchanted Mountains region.
  • Several orange dots on maps have been removed, as portals to change zones had been removed.
  • Modifications (with talents or equipment) to the number of traps/turret/summons are correctly taken into account directly on your skills in your action bar.
  • The sphere southwest of the Granock Citadel region no longer changes shape when moving it.
  • Chests remain visually closed when you move away from them when they have been opened before.
  • Elves no longer have problems turning towards you.
  • The player chest box column 3, row 4 on the first tab works correctly.
  • NPCs can no longer move the upgrade scroll table and chest within the guild.
  • Honeypots can be activated from inventory.
  • Honeypots are correctly consumed upon activation.

Roadmap

Here is an overall roadmap of the game, with all major updates and their contents.

The content present in each major update is not fixed, knowing that balancing and the addition of content to balance the game will also be available on weekly updates.

There are other elements that I would like to add (and probably certain that I forgot to add), but not being 100% certain of their addition I will not put them in the list.

This list will be modified over the years, so don't hesitate to come back and take a look here!

The 0.2, approximately for February 2024

  • Arcade game mode: A game mode that is easier to access, without lock picking, identifications, the systems already mentioned will be revised slightly to provide small bonuses, rather than slowdown or frustration.
  • Improved interface for 4k screens.
  • Text resolution changes on several interfaces.
  • Added gems to equipment.
  • Improved the Craft system (quality of life only).
  • Random event on maps.
  • Elites have active or passive offensive skills.
  • Reworked several defensive skills to make them more powerful from the start and make their use almost mandatory against boss fights.
  • to see if I add 2 outdoor terrains planned for 0.3 to have better balance and provide new explorable content with each new major addition.
  • Quests can be taken and made visible on maps already explored whether on the global map or local map. (Quests will have a big change for update 0.3)
  • Improved aiming of NPCs.

The 0.3 around for June 2024

  • 4 new outdoor areas and 7 indoor areas. (northwest regions with snow)
  • The maximum player level increases to 75. (Update 0.2: The game no longer has a level limitation)
  • Added content for the Craft (elixir and food).
  • Added a mastery and skill leveling system for the Craft, with penalties and bonuses.
  • Runic letter and runic word.
  • To see if instead of waiting for 0.6, then 0.9, I leave the secondary classes before, for that I will need to complete the talent trees before, the skills being already finished. (Update 0.2: access to all classes)

0.4 around for October 2024

  • 1 new outdoor area and 2 outdoor area. (ork region)
  • The player no longer has a maximum level.
  • Added high-level content to the guild. (For 0.3)
  • Added content for Craft (rarity equipment with potentially new components if necessary)
  • New quest system without NPCs, based solely on interface to help the player in his development, many elements being poorly explained for the moment. (For 0.3 )
  • First guild buildings, unlockable with components, to see if in story mode the guild would evolve in a slightly different way. (There will just be a house system to manage with evolution of merchant)
  • Added mounts.

The 0.5 around February 2025

  • 2 new outdoor courts and 1 indoor court (volcanic region)
  • Start of the season system. (Already in game on update 0.2)
  • Improved fights and encounters against legendary bosses.
  • New equipment, sets and skills on equipment.
  • Set equipment will have specific icons to make it easier to find.
  • Added and improved puzzles.
  • Visual improvement of blocking doors (picking with mechanism that opens, destructible which falls apart and identification with a semi-opaque barrier which disappears gradually)

La 0.6 around June 2025

  • 2 new outdoor courts and 5 indoor courts
  • Choice of 6 classes, with 9 new classes available. (Already in game during update 0.2)
  • Season 2
  • Added quests that slightly modify game areas.
  • In story mode: Addition of quest modifying the game economy: Several cities will be available at this time of the game, the cities will have excess needs and components, creating more or less high prices thus as the creation of quests based on random events. The portals will be harder to use and unlock at the very beginning, then increasingly simple depending on your evolution and the evolution of the guild, for a result close to the arcade game mode which is the one currently used.
  • Cosmetic mode, hopefully with visual overhaul of the 3D model of the main character as well as many NPCs.

The 0.7 around October 2025

  • 2 new outdoor terrains and 3 indoor zones, at this point in the game, all the terrains of the campaign will be available, some specific zones for the factions will be missing.
  • Improved enemy AI.
  • Improved skill rarity, skills initially obtained with higher rarities will always be more powerful, for example, than a skill of normal rank which will evolve to legendary rank.
  • New NPC and quest that influences the game in the long term.
  • The big gate in the town of Granock could be opened at that time, probably with a visual overhaul of the area.
  • Season 3

La 0.8 environs February 2026

  • Added new content for the guild.
  • Added new content for high level.
  • Added in the guild the possibility of creating tailor-made pieces of equipment, 3 max on the player, depending on the sets and equipment already found, with harvestable components on high-level content. It will be impossible to create divine equipment and the durability will be directly 0%, therefore no additional statistics or bonus level. (to be seen for update 0.3)
  • Season 4

La 0.9 environs June 2026

  • Faction Quests
  • Choice of a 7th class, with 9 new classes available, for a total of 39. (already in game during update 0.2)
  • Story mode: Several small faction battles depending on the player's choices.
  • Season 5

La 1.0 Early 2027

  • Latest high-level content addition
  • Added divine items. Added new divine rarity powers for equipment.
  • Story Mode: Added last battle and final boss.
  • Season 6

After 1.0, what is certain is that the game will continue to receive balancing updates, bug fixes and added content for balancing purposes.
Major content updates will continue to be expected depending on the success of the game upon release.
