Major Update V0.8.0 - League System, Bestiary & Loot
[p]Hello Community,[/p][p]The next major version, 0.8.0, is finally live! As announced in the last news update, this version focuses on the new League System and the Bestiary.[/p][p][/p][h2]New League System[/h2][p]
The new League System places a new emphasis on actively attacking player fortresses. Each day, you receive entry tickets that allow you to attack opponents and collect Crowns (the new trophy points).[/p][p][/p][p]A League season will initially last two weeks. This is a manageable timeframe, allowing for more sustained play, and at the end, you'll receive currency for the League Shop based on your ranking. In the future, Essences will also be available for purchase there to enhance individual monsters in the Bestiary.[/p][p]Furthermore, failed League attacks no longer result in a Crown loss—you no longer risk a lower ranking after a League attack.[/p][p][/p][p]Opponents can also be respawned, but this costs League Entry Tickets and thus reduces the number of possible attacks.[/p][p][/p][p]Aggressors can also be respawned, but this costs League Entry Tickets and therefore reduces the number of possible attacks.[/p][p][/p][h2]New Game Mode: Exploration[/h2][p]
Since League attacks are limited daily, we want to make it possible for all players who prefer to attack player fortresses in addition to the League mode. Exploration is attacking player fortresses with a reduced amount of lootable gold and without League entry fees.[/p][p][/p][h2]Bestiary[/h2][p]
In the Bestiary, you can improve the base stats of monsters and later modify their behavior. Essences are required for this.[/p][p][/p][p]Essences can only be found in League and Exploration modes, and only if the player has reached level 50![/p][p][/p][h2]Loot[/h2][p]Over the past few weeks, I've gathered a lot of feedback and tried to implement the community's wishes to make the rewards for daily tasks, and especially the loot from attacks, more satisfying.[/p][p][/p][p]The chances of Legendary items dropping as loot have been significantly improved, particularly in League, Exploration, and Campaign modes. The impact of equipment with increased loot quality has also been reworked.[/p][p][/p][p]In Adventure Mode, the drop rates have been retained, but the effect of equipment with increased loot quality has been reduced.[/p][p][/p][h2]What's next?[/h2][p]As announced in the last news update, I plan to focus on balancing weapon types and skills in upcoming V0.8.X versions.[/p][p][/p][p]As soon as I can assess the scope of this work, I will also publish an updated roadmap for version 1.0.[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]I look forward to your feedback!
