Hello everyone,

πŸŽ„β„οΈ It’s time to celebrate the Christmas Season with Patch #3 of Silent Rain!

We are really happy to release our biggest patch yet, which continued to balance/polish the "House" map and addressed various bugs.

πŸ—“οΈ The entire Seedlers team is working very hard to deliver a nice horror coop experience. Based on your feedback, more patches will arrive in the coming weeks/months to further stabilize and improve the experience, while we continue to work on the second map, "Metro." We are thrilled with what this new map has offered so far and can't wait to show you more in early 2024 πŸ™‚

Here's a detailed list of changes:

  • Christmas and holiday festivities! We added snow and multiple decorations to the map. We hope you will enjoy it! Just be careful of Santa this year... πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ„πŸ‘€


[h2]Balancing[/h2]
  • Electricity system: Like the camera control screen, some machines are now disabled when the power is turned off.
  • Cocoon: A sentinel can now spawn when a player dies in a cocoon.


[h2]Enhancements[/h2]
  • Voice chat: Reworked the voice chat system, now fully integrated with a new spatialization effect (just remember to adjust your gain and microphone threshold in the settings).
  • Controller support: It's now fully integrated (in-game & menu).
  • Leaderboard: The leaderboard now keeps track of the best time achieved.
  • Doc animations: The Doctor's run animation is now smoother to avoid a "sliding" effect.

  • Minor UI enhancements.
  • Minor audio enhancements.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Setting freezing: Fixed an issue where the Settings Menu freezes during opening.
  • Eggs disappearing: Fixed an issue where cocoons from the "fireflies puzzle part" could disappear.
  • Collisions: Fixed an issue where some collisions were missing or blocking players in certain conditions.
  • Occult Cards: Fixed an issue where player-clients in a game can no longer pick up cards already in the collection of the player-host.
  • Floor glass/plank not making noise: Fixed an issue where cue sound on the floor can break during a game and no longer play sound when a player walks on it.
  • Fixed multiple "high latency" related bugs.
  • Fixed multiple bugs when players are revived with the matches.
  • Fixed multiple bugs when players are in ghost mode.
  • Fixed multiple bugs when a player is killed while watching the camera control panel.
  • Fixed numerous minor bugs.
