🧙‍♂️ The Enjenir V0.7 - The Unhinged Update 🤯

Hello Enjenirs!

This major update brings some serious upgrades to your builds, adds a brand new level to explore, and introduces two game-changing components: hinges and springs! Plus, we've made key improvements to building mechanics!

More info below 👇
✨ New Content
• New Level: Explore the mysterious realm Under Beinn Dreich - our latest level.

This level sits between the Farm and the Seaside level - so relatively early enough in the game. One of the bits of feedback we get from folk was that the difficulty of the missions ramps up quite quickly, so this level should help to ease into the more difficult missions in the later levels.

  • Springs: One of our most highly requested feature - Springs! Easily create bouncy contraptions!

These springs also have with tweakable parameters allowing you to change Stiffness, Dampening, and it's Target Position.

Some players have already started integrating them into their vehicle designs to add working suspension!

  • Hinges: With this update, The Enjenir is significantly less unhinged thanks to... hinges! Now you no longer need to use convoluted rotator systems to emulate hinge-like features because you have... actual hinges!
⚙️ Improved Mechanics
• Revamped rotator physics (no more random stops and now are way more reliable)
  • Gradual braking system added to Rotators to avoid sudden stops
  • Piston reliability has been improved - now with over 76% fewer random piston explosions! 🤯
🔧 Minor Fixes & Tweaks
• Painting is now enabled on the new wheel system
  • Bracing can now attach to the new wheels
  • Reduced anvil placement offset to make it easier to place anvils
  • Various other bug fixes and optimizations
🚀 Coming Soon
We’re also planning our next community challenge which we will reveal more info on soon… and the submission will be a lot easier now, as it will be directly incorporated into the Steam Workshop!

Thanks once again to everyone for continuing to play and enjoy The Enjenir. As always, drop us a Steam review if you're enjoying the game's chaos, or perhaps it's precise engineering… depending on your playstyle! 😉

All the best,

Cillín & Neil
