Hide Masking co-op sync

Re-enabled 'hide masking' for free spray co-op. The host can now do it and it sill sync with the client.

Bug fix for changing difficulty automatically completing a job on reload. If difficulty was lowered and on a subsequent run of the game a job completed instantly, it could get stuck in the spray stage without moving on. It will now check to see if the spraying has completed after it has reloaded.

New Steam Update Available — What’s Coming Up

Hi everyone,

We wanted to send a special thank you to everyone who has played Spray Paint Simulator since its launch last Thursday. We have been blown away by the support and thoughtful feedback you have shared with us. It means a lot to our tiny team to see so many of you jumping in and giving the game a go!

Through your feedback, we have identified some issues and are working diligently to address them. While we are still working on a few things, we have recently rolled out a few fixes in the latest update:
 • Scaffolding not unlocking after the Bus fix
 • Reduced paper/tape usage rate
 • Some balancing fixes to the large nozzle's paint usage
 • Improved medium nozzle for Sprayite 150 & Yopaint 3000
 • Cash pick-ups are available in other game modes
 • Autosave every 5 minutes
 • Climbing boots fixed
 • Fixed a bug swapping spray tools between passes

You can check to see if you have updated to the most current version by checking to see if you're playing Build ID 18677495.

We have also added some additional launch options. The supported options are now:

 • difficulty=4

Values of 0-5 are supported with 0 being the easiest and 5 being the game default

 • 60fps

This should limit the framerate to a maximum of 60fps
 • notimelapse

This switches off the timelapse capture of your progress. If you are struggling with mouse jumps or frame glitches this might help sort it out.

The launch options are only really intended to be quick fixes. We'll work on implementing more robust solutions ASAP, launch options just allow us to get solutions to you much more quickly.
What we have coming up
As we mentioned, there are still a few bug fixes that we’re working on which at the moment, are our top priority, but we also wanted to mention a few things we have in the forks for future updates.

Co-Op Multiplayer in Career Mode

We are happy to see that so many people are eager to play with friends in Career Mode. As a small team, we had to make some difficult decisions to make sure we provided a solid game at launch, and we wanted to makes sure that we did have some kind of multiplayer available since we know how much fun getting creative with friends can be. But we know this is only the beginning. Expanding co-op is one of our top priorities and we plan on improving it in future updates.

The Cherry Picker

We’re glad that many people are enjoying this feature in the game, but realize that some improvements can be made. We are working on some that will enhance the experience, but these changes will take a little time to implement. So, please look forward to those in future updates.

Once again, we truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to play and provide us with feedback. We are overwhelmed with the reception and we couldn’t be more grateful to you all!

If you have spotted anything or have suggestions, we would love to continute to hear from you. To make sure that nothing is missed, please feel free to submit any bugs or feedback to these forms:

Spray Paint Simulator is Out Now!

Hello friends!

We are absolutely thrilled to share that our game, Spray Paint Simulator, is out now on Steam!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

It’s been a long journey from forming our studio, to the initial idea for Spray Paint Simulator, and now, its release, and we couldn’t be more proud. After months of creating a game that we had loads of fun making, we’re very excited to be able to share it with the world.

In the past, we’ve always made games for other people, so creating something ourselves has been both exciting and a little scary. When you launch a title, there’s always a mixture of sheer joy and nerves after putting it out there. We’re grateful for the support from our publisher and the many players who have helped us shape the game into something we’re eager for people to play. We’ve done our best to listen to player feedback and create a game we hope will be enjoyed by many. We can’t wait to see what players come up with during their time with the game. We hope you enjoy it!

As a thank you to the community, you can purchase Spray Paint Simulator at a 10% discount on Steam until June 4.

We have lots in store for the future of Spray Paint Simulator, and always, we welcome your feedback, which you are welcome to share by filling out our feedback form. And if you happen to find a bug while you’re playing, you can quickly let us know here.

Introducing ZACH-BOT 1 — The Giant Robot

Hello friends!

We’re back again with a little more insight into what you’ll get to experience in Spray Paint Simulator when it launches this May! Today, we’d like to introduce you to one of the most unique jobs you’ll get to take on during your journey to become the best painter Spatterville has ever seen — a giant robot!

Yes, you read that correctly — you’ll get to paint a giant robot!

Tech genius and eccentric billionaire inventor, Zach, has finally achieved the unthinkable — his very own giant robot! While the design itself is a brilliant masterpiece, Zach needs your painting expertise to bring his vision to fruition. However, this is a massive job, so you’ll need to bring all the right tools with you (such as a recently restored cherry picker, perhaps?) and utilize all the techniques you’ve learned throughout your career. With a fresh coat of paint, the gargantuan ZACH-BOT 1 will be perfect, PERFECT! All that’s left is for the genius inventor to figure out just what to do with it…
Have a look at the ZACH-BOT 1 in the screenshots below:
Something tells us that Zach has created a very friendly robot.

Going to need a big tool to reach those heights!

Do not disappoint ZACH-BOT 1 with an unsatisfactory paint job!

Looking pretty spiffy, ZACH-BOT!
Eager to play the game? We’d love for you to check out the demo!
