New song drop from Simon Viklund

[p]On Midsomer's Eve, when Swedes usually dance around the flower-clad maypole to songs like "The Little Frogs" - Simon Viklund released a new song from the Den of Wolves soundtrack. You heard glimpses of it in our latest trailer, shown at the PC Gaming Show, and now you can listen to it in full on your preferred streaming service.[/p][p][/p][p]Simon Viklund describes the song like this:[/p][p][/p][p]— Like the two previous Den of Wolves tracks we've released, "Warped Morals" is a showcase of the soundtrack's focus on hypnotic rhythms and aggressive, pulse-raising synth sounds. I especially like how the drums start off sort of stuttering, like they're stumbling forward, making the groove somewhat elusive and hard to truly "dig." Then, 49 seconds in, the snare gets into a more predictable beat and suddenly it all comes together in an infectious groove. Also, look out for the double tempo in the second drop![/p][p][/p][p]Listen to Warped Morals on Spotify

Fresh hands-on impressions and interviews with Ulf Andersson and Simon Viklund

With our strong background in the heist genre we wanted to know what other veterans had to say about Den of Wolves at this early stage. We invited seasoned bank robbers, some of them with a career dating back to our first venture into the criminal world, to both play a pre-alpha build but also interview our Creative Director Ulf Andersson and Audio Director/composer Simon Viklund.

The result: two days of vault drilling, bag carrying and guns blasting - enjoy their impressions and interview videos below.

Announcing Do The Game

Making games is hard and we want to invite you to a unique look behind the scenes of modern day game development in our upcoming docu-reality series Do The Game.

"With our previous success of GTFO and now working on a major title like Den of Wolves, it might seem glamorous," says Oscar J-T Holm, Co-Founder at 10 Chambers. "However, growing a company while building a game can be incredibly stressful and create tension even between longtime friends. Through this Docu-Reality series, we aim to provide a brutally honest look behind the scenes of all this."

Watch the teaser and head over to the official website and signup to know more.

The next shooter from the GTFO crew will have microtransactions, but no lootboxes, "math-fuckery" or "buckazoids"

In every round of GTFO, you’re dragged gasping from a cryo-coffin and dropped into the bowels of an enormous laboratory by a horrible pincer-crane. Reaching your appointed floor, you’re asked to hack terminals and reach waypoints while trying not to rouse a sleeping population of mutants. It’s a terrible fate, but as your turrets run out of bullets and the bipedal lampreys overwhelm your friends, you can take consolation in the knowledge that there are no microtransactions - for when 10 Chambers launched the early access version in 2019, they promised to release all DLC for free. “There but for the grace of God go I,” you can say, thinking with a shudder of games like Overwatch, while the Shadows tear your head from your body.

No such consolation awaits players of 10 Chambers’ forthcoming Den of Wolves, a cyberpunk co-op heist shooter in the tradition of Payday 2. According to audio director Simon Viklund , the game will “most likely” have microtransactions, for the simple reason that the studio is now 10 times bigger than when they launched GTFO, and needs to make more money. Don’t be entirely depressed, however – there will be no “maths-fuckery”, no pay to win, and no “buckazoids”.
