š§ We're Almost There! A Huge Thank You + Answers to Some Common Questions š§
Hey everyone,
Vasilis here.š
As we get closer to the release of Pixelshire, I just want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of you for your continued support over the years. š
Itās been a long journey, and I truly appreciate every single one of you whoās been part of it. With launch just around the corner, Iād like to answer some of the most frequently asked questionsāincluding a few we might have missedāabout the game and whatās coming next:
š® Controller Support
Yes! Pixelshire has full controller support.
š¹ļø Steam Deck Compatibility
The game will be playable on Steam Deck.
š¦ Launch Content & What Comes After
There were many features I wouldāve loved to include in the initial releaseābut adding them would have caused significant delays.
That said, launch is just a milestone, not the end of the road.
Once weāve handled any necessary fixes and adjustments after release, Iāll be putting together and sharing a roadmap for new features and improvements.
š® Console Versions
Most of the heavy lifting is already done, so I donāt expect it to take too long after release.
š We donāt have an official release date yet, but stay tuned!
š Multiplayer
As many of you have asked: Will the game have multiplayer?
Itās something I really wanted to add. Multiplayer has become a standard in many games, and I absolutely understand the demand.
However, Pixelshire wasnāt originally designed with multiplayer in mind, nor did I imagine that the game would draw this much attention. Adding it mid-development would have required a huge rework of the gameās core systemsāsomething that would have been risky, costly, and wouldāve delayed the release by a lot.
So hereās the honest truth:
š I canāt promise that multiplayer will happen.
But if the game does well, I will do my best to make it a reality.
š Thanks again for being part of this journey.
