Alpha 1.01 released, Re-opened limited access, and Dev Livestream.

Hello Agents,

It's a bit late, but we're recently re-opened our Alpha demo for everyone during Steam Survival fest until August 8th. Several improvements are:

  • Adding Quick Match
  • Adding voice talk features (Hold B to talk)
  • Adding WIP simplified Chinese subtitle
  • and some minor adjustments and improvement


Also, we will host another Dev Livestream and AMA Session on our youtube channel (youtube.com/dreadoutgame) at 2 PM UTC. Stay tuned!


That being said, please share your experience with us! All critics and suggestions are very welcome!

[h3]Hotfixes![/h3]
We received your feedback. And with that, we released a hotfix that is now live.
As for the hotfix detail:

  • BGM & SFX tweaks
  • Disposal van visibility tweaks

  • the session will start a countdown if 5 player exists inside
  • reduced player requirement to 4

  • bugfixes:
  • lighting mode working outside of development build
  • add reporting feature in main menu
  • game not ended when possessed is dead.

DreadHaunt Demo available now

Hi everyone,

Thanks for checking out our DreadHaunt Demo.
DreadHaunt is our first foray into the online horror multiplayer genre, we are very thrilled to hear what you guys think of our current alpha build Demo. The Demo itself will only available from today until June 20th. The feedback from all of you will be considered and implemented in the final product.

DreadHaunt will not be released as free to play games, but instead will be a fully released game with decent enough content to keep us all busy :)

As the development is still in progress, we will continue to improve the final product based on input and suggestions from the community along the way.

After the final product is released, and If the community responds well, we are committed to releasing more content with more game modes, levels, and characters under future DLCs or seasonal passes.
