[p]Dear Earthlings

After a personally successful sales period, I'm now diving into the next exciting update, the RPG update! I've got some interesting things to show and tell you, so here we go![/p][p]
Automation
I'm planning to add automation to the game. This feature is still highly experimental, and I'm not yet sure if it will make it into the final version, but the tests I've been running are looking very promising. [/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]

The idea behind automation is to make crafting more engaging and challenging, while also reducing grind. With automation, you'll be able to move items along conveyor belts and through stations. For example, if you connect a conveyor belt from a cargo crate to a shaper station, it will automatically pick up any filtered ore from the crate and send it into the shaper for processing. Then, if you connect another conveyor belt from the shaper to a different cargo crate, the processed ore will be sent back into storage automatically.[/p][p]This system should make shipbuilding a lot more interesting as well.

Ship/base building
I'm also making major improvements to the spaceship and base building mechanics. I’ve received some very valuable feedback from you all, pointing out that building currently feels tedious and not very fun, so I’m ramping up the entire building experience.
[/p][p][/p][p]One major change is the addition of rooms. Players will need to designate dedicated rooms within their ship or base, each with required objects in order to function properly. These rooms can also be assigned to specific crew members, making ship and base building feel much more personal and meaningful.[/p][p]Another big change: I'm removing individual object items. Instead, crafting will happen directly through the build menu and will no longer rely on what's in your personal inventory. The system will automatically check your cargo for the required materials, making the building process smoother and more intuitive.[/p][p]These changes should greatly improve the building aspect of the game.[/p][p][/p][p]FIRE!
That's not all, I'm also working on implementing a fire mechanic, so your spaceship or base can actually catch fire. And yes, enemy ships and bases can burn too, of course.
[/p][p][/p][p]I'm planning to add a flamethrower weapon, and I’ve already implemented a fire extinguisher. Naturally, the fire extinguisher can be used to put out fires, but it also doubles as a tool to stun NPCs. Just be aware, they don’t like it when you do that. [/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]
Hydroponics Station
One of the new objects being added to the game is the hydroponics station. With this station, you'll be able to grow your own food right inside your spaceship or base, making food crafting much easier, especially in the early game.

All in all
Once all of these features are implemented, I’ll shift my focus to adding a main questline to the game. I’ll also be overhauling the trading system, introducing large community spaceships where players can buy and sell all kinds of items. You’ll even be able to sell your own (or stolen) spaceships there for hard cash, which you can then use to purchase new ships.[/p][p]After that, I’ll be working on bounty missions and various side quests.[/p][p]All in all, these additions will massively improve the game and make the world feel much more alive!
