Dev Diary 23#
Dear earthlings,
The Space Pirate Update sale period comes to an end, and I am really proud! This month has been absolutely amazing for the game and for the community. I want to show you some statistics!
Out of Orbit sold 650 units this month. Which absolutely blows my mind. I bet for some game developers these are peanut numbers, but I am very happy!

Here you can see the graph of this month, especially the last two weeks, when the discount was active you can see a lot of growth.

One reason for this "success" was because of the wishlist conversion rate. Out Of Orbit reached an all-time high of 17%, which also absolutely blows my mind. The other reason is that one of the TikTok videos went absolute insane. It has been watched 125.7K times and still counting, this happened organically. This also gave a massive influx of new players! Out of Orbit also reach the steam store page a couple of times this month, which greatly increased expose of the game.
If things are keep on going on like this, I surely can quit my full-time job as a bed sales manager and make my dream come true, being a full-time game developer. One can dream, right?
Corrupt save files
Due to a bug that now has been fixed, all games that were started before July 30th will be corrupted. I am sorry about this. I always try my best to avoid these kinds of things, because I know that some people will lose a lot of progress. The bug has been fixed and if you start a new game and save that one, it won't be happening again, so it only affects older save files. Again, my sincere apologies, I hope it doesn't change your gameplay experience too much.
Thanks to the community, most of the bugs has been squeezed. There are still some, but the game is pretty stable at the moment. If you find any bugs, please report them to me!
Also, if not already, please link yourself up to all social media platforms to stay up-to-date.

If you guys have any other questions, i'd love to answer them.
Stay good, stay fresh and stay healthy!
Cheers,
Bryan
