Frozen Friday Night: The Eve News

The regular update has been released. I'd like to provide a more detailed account of the changes and additions included in this update.









When survivors have specific items exceeding 1000, the inventory will now display them as 999+.











The HUD color for Dash has been changed to gold.











Agility now affects the cooldown of Dash. Each point of agility decreases the cooldown by 0.005 seconds, meaning that for every 1 point of agility, the time you have to wait before using Dash again is reduced by 0.005 seconds.











The store's name has been changed: JY's Awesome Clothing → YK's Lit Wardrobe.













A bathroom has been added inside The Mighty Hawk. (Survivors can't take a bath yet.)













A soap dispenser has been added to the bathroom in Setsuka's house.













Ezraella's surname has been renamed to Nabokov, as the previous one was applied in error and did not align with our original intent for her character.











The Explorer's Guide to the Whispering Sunrise Forest now includes additional phrases
Before: "Getting warm in front of a bonfire outside in safety offers a cozy feeling and releases dopamine. Just remember not to fall asleep; hypothermia awaits."

After: "Getting warm in front of a bonfire offers a cozy feeling and releases dopamine. In the wilderness of Lumainaho, outside of villages in winter, the fatal frost will freeze your blood. Then, your heart will shatter, unable to withstand the extreme cold. So get warm by any bonfire. It will protect you from freezing to death. Just remember not to fall asleep; hypothermia awaits."











A new phrase has been added to the system message
Before: "The frost embraces you with hands of death."

After: "The frost embraces you with hands of death. Your speed has slowed down, and your HP is continuously damaged."

We would like to share some important news with you.




Temporary Update Suspension
Due to a deeply personal matter (related to the future, which will allow us to continue making games without obstacles, and it's not related to financial issues), AJ, our designer and developer behind FFN: Eve, is currently away from work. As a result, the next update has been temporarily paused. AJ may return to the studio and resume work soon, but there's no definitive timeline yet. AJ has apologized to all survivors waiting for the next update.



About Pandu
Pandu was planned to become a playable character around February or March this year. Due to an unexpected circumstance, this update has been indefinitely delayed. We're sorry for the delay.



New Language Support
We can't reveal what the language is yet; we might be able to add support for it this year. We really hope this becomes a reality and wish luck to everyone who speaks it.




Updates Expected in the First Half of the Year

To mark the milestone, we held a small celebration for all our survivors.

New Area: Eversnow Haven
Through an unnamed stream in the Western Butterjackson Woods, survivors can now access the gateway to Whispering Winter Wonderland.











New NPC: Lumainaho Bison Transport Service Wranglers
The wranglers offer survivors transportation services to other areas.











Weapon Rebalancing
The special benefit of Setsuka's Bestie has been adjusted:
+50% XP bonus for eliminating enemies → +100% XP bonus for eliminating enemies.










1st Anniversary Celebration
1. Survivors earn double bounty until the next update.
2. Survivors get double blue moonstones until the next update.
3. Survivors gain double XP until the next update.











Other Changes
1. The Steam Library image has been replaced with a new one.
2. New BGMs have been added for Huckletwain.
3. Minor issues have been fixed.
