UPDATE 0.1.0.0_227.1803

Notice: Those with this icon :check_mark: are inspired by the players’ feedback. Thank you so much again.
Hello,

It was a crazy evening for us, thank you for all feedback until now, we must take a break, so we can keep improving the game again, so for now this is what we did:

Optimizations:
• :check_mark: Added day count descriptions to tooltips for the age bar and the fertility button options.
 • :check_mark: Default volume level changed to 50%.
Bug Fixes:
• :check_mark: Fixed an issue where workstations with sufficient resources could not operate when right-clicked. Now, a corresponding prompt will appear instead of indicating that no one can work.
 • Fixed an error with shrimp traps.
 • When placing items into storage, reducing the number of slots in the storage area occasionally causes items to disappear.
 • :check_mark: Tutorial on animal domestication: Sending out a hunting team to capture wolf cubs before building a wolf pen can prevent completion of the step to place the wolf cubs into the pen.
 • :check_mark: Occasionally, invaders may appear at times other than those indicated.
 • Vertical sync option now requires a restart to take effect, which was not mentioned in the text.
 • Even after turning off vertical sync option, the frame rate remains locked at 60.
Note: Frame locking in Unity engine games is associated with vertical sync. To unlock frames, vertical sync must be turned off, but this may result in potential display errors such as tearing.

Primitive Society Simulator Early Access Released!

Hello wonderful people!

I'm Peterson, one of the developers of Primitive Society Simulator, also known here in the posts as YSH Mr. Octopus.

I'm very grateful for everyone's patience in waiting for the game to be released in Early Access. Some people have already played the Demo and others have had access to the test or promotional version, the latter of which will continue to have access to the game. But the truth is that the day has finally arrived and everyone will be able to access the game during this next stage of development, as well as waiting for version 1.0 to arrive, which could take several months, because without hurry, but certainly with efficiency, we want to make sure we deliver the best for you.

I've made a post about the future plans, it's pinned in the Discussions, however we'll be drawing up a RoadMap in the coming weeks, but to help you even more in deciding whether to buy the game now or not, I've made a short guide orienting you according to the expectations of each type of player (remembering that everything is according to the content currently available, more content will come in the coming months):

If you're a builder: I fit the bill here, you'll probably be able to play for around 100 hours, among the hundreds of players who helped us test the game in its development until now, many even exceeded the 200 hour mark. So I feel that builders can already buy the game without hesitation.

If you're a warrior: Currently, there are mechanics for morale, building towers, medical support, cleaning the battlefield and preparing weapons. However, compared to more elaborate RTS games such as the "Age of Empires" franchise, several features, such as unit formation, are still lacking. The combat aspect of our game will continue to improve, but not in the short term. So if that's your focus, I think it's worth waiting a little longer.

If you're a productivity fanatic: It's worth considering the purchase. The structure for weight management, trading systems, transportation and storage areas is ready. Various details are currently being perfected.

If you're a farm game enthusiast: As it's the time when humans started farming, there are gameplay elements such as "crop selection", "divine agriculture" and "domestication of oxen (aurochs)" based on history, and there are also mammoths to add to the fun. So it's worth giving it a go.

If you're the casual type: Reaching all the content can take around 50 hours. However, if you don't like building and production efficiency, then it may be a waste of time. You might want to check the reviews before making a decision.
It's also worth talking about AI, a very important factor in games like ours:
Currently, AI's division of labor is quite detailed, which can seem a bit cumbersome at first. However, the resulting control capacity and level of automation are greater. After playing, if you feel that the AI is failing in any respect, let us know and we'll continue to improve it.
The UI also deserves a special mention:
Some people have said that it looks a bit rustic. Objectively speaking, that's true. The point is that the interface of this type of game is very complex and currently, the priority is to make it "understandable and clear". We also tried to improve the style of the interface, but found it difficult to maintain clarity. We'll try more improvements again when the system and gameplay are more stable. If you care about this, please give us some time.
About the Updates:
Various optimizations and bug fixes will continue constantly. Soon, as I mentioned earlier, we'll be making a RoadMap available to briefly show our development plan. Significant new game mechanics will be tested in around 3 months and polished over the same period of time, so released in around 6 months. This cycle may seem a little long, but it allows us to deliver stable updates and significant new content that will offer you dozens more hours of fun.

So if, knowing all this, you decide to embark on this journey with us, we'd be honored and we'll demonstrate this by being as transparent as possible and following up on all the feedback you've left in a variety of places: Discussions, comments on updates, our Discord ( https://discord.gg/uKYW2Ha4fg ) and very importantly we will be reading and taking into consideration all the reviews you leave, if we can ask you something, please as soon as you are comfortable with your opinion of the game, take the time to write your review, it will be extremely important to us.

Now to finish this mega text, we would like to thank all of you who have trusted our work so far, especially the hundreds of content creators who have already made a video in several languages: Arabic, Chinese, Czech, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese. All of them were not paid to give their opinion, so they were free to give as much criticism as possible, so once again we thank each and every one of them, and you might go and search for their content at: Youtube, Twitch, TikTok and several other places, in that way maybe they could help you to see more about the game and make a clear decision about buying the game now or waiting a bit longer.

PS. The game is available in Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. But during the EA process we will add more languages.
