• [p]Fixed a bug where players could get stuck when talking to the Penitent Monk outside the Buddha's Hollow without completing the Bodhidharma's Scripture enlightenment quest inside the Dharma Cave.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug in the \[SIDE QUEST] Help the Ye Siblings Wield Jade Spears where the game could sometimes get stuck after defeating Mu chi at the training ground.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug in the \[SIDE QUEST] Flowing Circulation that could cause the game to get stuck after accepting the quest.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where displaying too many steps under a single quest could cause the game to crash.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where Elemental Toxin Trill was not applying 3 stacks of Frost/Ignited/Poisoned effects.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where level 5 Hunyuan Swordplay was triggering level 10 effects.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where level 5 Hunyuan Palm Strike was triggering level 10 effects.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where the protagonist would not gain the Strong Attack effect when using the fan technique Moonlit Lake, which triggers the coordinated attack Moon's Reflection from the movement skill Step of the Faint Moon.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where Seal of Sickness, Perfumed Hairpin, or Crane's Arrival causing Momentum to trigger from Swaying Pines would leave the character unable to act immediately.[/p]
• [p]Fixed the description error for the level 10 effect of Sleeping Arhat Method from "Increases Sleeping Arhat Staff damage by 15%" to "Increases all Beggars' Sect Polearm Technique damage by 30%" (text-only change, does not affect skill functionality).[/p]
• [p]Fixed the description error for the "Lingbo Buff" from "50% chance per turn to gain Light Body, removed when MP is below 15%" to "30% chance per turn to gain Light Body, removed when MP is below 20%" (text-only change, does not affect skill functionality).[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where the camera could behave abnormally after some characters used their ultimate skills on the battlefield.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where the combat interface displayed incorrectly when the protagonist had 5 Internal Power equipped.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug on the first floor of the Buddha's Hollow where, after Leng Wuqing leaves the party, the interception event for Jiang Xiaotong might sometimes fail to trigger.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug in the \[SIDE QUEST] A Dance in Gusu where the protagonist could still move while dialogue was popping up after fast traveling to the world map upon quest completion.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where Bai Jin-related events could still be triggered after Bai Jin's death during The Shaolin sword duel.[/p]
• [p]Fixed missing characters in the couplet inside the Shaolin Abbot's room.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where escaping was not possible during sparring matches on the Donghai (East Sea) world map.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where triggering the prompt for The Eastern Sea Pearl event from NPC discussions on the world map could cause incorrect controller button prompts.[/p]

[hr][/hr][h2]🔄 Update Notes[/h2][p]If you've previously installed any mods, this update might cause issues due to mod incompatibilities, including the game failing to start or running into errors during gameplay.[/p][p]To resolve this:[/p]

• [p]Uninstall any mods by navigating to your game files:[/p]
  • [p]Right-click Wandering Sword in your Steam Library → Manage → Browse Local Files → delete everything under Wandering_Sword\\Content\\Paks[/p]
• [p]Then verify file integrity in Steam and restart the game.[/p]

• [p]Try deleting the steam.cfg file inside your Steam folder and restart Steam. Make sure your Steam client is fully updated.[/p]
• [p]Note: As of Jan 1, 2024, Steam no longer supports Windows 7 & 8.[/p]

[p]Intel 13th/14th Gen CPU crash fix:[/p]

• [p]Download Intel’s XTU tool and set Performance Core Ratio to 45–46. This should prevent Unreal Engine-related crashes for a few days. If the issue returns, repeat the adjustment.[/p]
