Patch Notes 1.0.3 - More Sounds

  • [p]All soundtracks have been expanded and are less monotonous.[/p]
  • [p]Many places in the game have been given completely new soundtracks, so it won't be super quiet anywhere anymore![/p]
  • [p]The rapier now has unique hit and attack sounds.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Bullets indicators[/h2][p]The indicators display an effect on the screen that shows all bullets outside of your field of vision. By default, it only works on homing bullets. In the options, you can choose how strong this effect should be.[/p][p]This orange effect is the indicator. You can also set this for other projectiles![/p][p][/p][h2]Other changes[/h2]
  • [p]Fixed the position of many fictional book portals, some of which were appearing in walls/ground.[/p]
  • [p]Added effects to melee attacks of mainly ranged opponents.[/p]
  • [p]The animations of several opponents have been changed to make them faster and clearer.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed animations for the Devil and Necromancer in the bar[/p]
  • [p]Improved the appearance of rooms on the minimap[/p]

Patch Notes 1.0.2 - General changes

  • [p]Added a collision to rooms in the Flying Machine that destroys enemies and deals damage to the player immediately after they fall out of the room.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the win limit in the Gamba fountain to 3, as it is in the achievement.[/p]
  • [p]The 'Special Agent' achievement has been changed, now you only need to complete the tutorial.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the position of many details in the Tutorial so that they do not levitate above the ground.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the position of the pause menu when you are at the bar[/p]

Patch Notes - 1.0.1 - Bugfix

  • [p]Several new models were not rendering (e.g., windows on the first floor), but after changing one option, everything is now visible.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that prevented some buffs descriptions from displaying.[/p]

Memories
[p]The tutorial is now an introduction to the game, with better explained mechanics and more combat. The night market is now twice as big and better explains the basic combat system. Before the game starts, there is an intro explaining that something bad is happening.[/p][p][/p][p]During the main mission, special scenes will appear that show changes in the game world. After completing the game, a scene with the ending of the story will appear.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
New weapon type: Rapier
[p]10th weapon type. With a rapier, you can move quickly across the battlefield. New weapon effects unique to the rapier have been added.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Weapon Packs
[p][/p][p]The premium set includes weapons with effects that work very well with purple crystals.[/p][p]The collection features various crystals that enhance the special attack of your weapons.[/p][p]Weapons from the scary pack summon spirits and absorb the souls of defeated enemies.[/p][p][/p]
Perks
[p][/p][h3]\[New] Energy Crystal[/h3][p]Each activation of the TECH effect increases the charge level, using a special attack discharges the effect and deals more damage (Many previous weapon enhancements and modifiers have been tagged with TECH).[/p][p][/p][h3]\[New] Tornado Amulet[/h3][p]Increase the knockback on every enemy that spawns, all attacks push enemies back.[/p][p][/p][h3]\[Change] Invisible Friends[/h3][p]Invisibility is gone, but it summons the ghost of a defeated enemy and grants a boost to dodge and movement speed.[/p][p][/p]
Locations Rework
[p]New look for the void tree. Since the game now has a storyline, the tree had to undergo a minor change in appearance. It no longer has a regular platform; it is actually one big tree.[/p][p][/p][p]The mine has unique mechanics to defend the statue against waves of enemies, which is cool. The problem was that the fight took too long compared to other alternative levels. That's why the mine now has all passages open from the start and has half as many enemy waves.[/p][p][/p][p]The rooms in the flying machine have a lot more details. Many enemies have new attacks.[/p][carousel][/carousel]
Book Dimensions
[p]Version 1.0, like other major versions, will change many aspects of the game and ultimately improve many mechanics. One of the new features will be new book dimensions, which are sure to add a lot of interesting events to the game.[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel]
Enemies
[p]Enemies on each floor have been improved. More melee attacks have visual effects. Bosses have improved, clearer animations and changed attacks.[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p]
New Achievements
[p]New Achievements-challenges for the most persistent.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Other Changes
[p]There are many changes, so I have mentioned the most important ones here.[/p]
  • [p]Added all missing animations for each character in the bar.[/p]
  • [p]Added more decorations for characters in the bar.[/p]
  • [p]Added a new effect to all treasure chests.[/p]
  • [p]Changed many shaders and materials (e.g., characters and enemies are brighter in dark rooms).[/p]
  • [p]Added a window with information about the book's fictional dimension.[/p]
  • [p]New merchants have been added to the city among the clouds.[/p]
  • [p]Added clouds to the city among the clouds (not bad)[/p]
  • [p]Selected kisses and starting drinks are saved between runs[/p]
  • [p]Optimized many elements in the bar.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where shadows disappeared in the Flying Machine[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where additional damage counted twice[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused the critical damage chance to be added multiple times.[/p]
  • [p]Some effects and weapons got a new tag: TECH[/p]
  • [p]Many enemies now have improved dungeon movement logic (they will bump into walls less often)[/p]
