Tap Ninja v7.1.16 is live!

● Getting ready for Season 4
● (have to be unlocked) Seasonal game tokens - complete a full day of quests to get a token, exchange enough tokens for a random Hero of choice
● Opening or switching between Seasonal & Main game will now max out the Speed Step if your Energy timer is not depleted after Away income
● Ascension tree now displays purchasable skills further than the neighboring node
● You can now purchase a path of Ascension skills with one click
● Game performance in the Ascension tab improved
● You can now adjust the zoom level in the seasonal upgrade menu
● Increased the maximum zoom out on the Conquest map
● Removed the lock toggle on zoom in/out
● You will be prompted to confirm a Regular Ascension if previously you used a Perfect Ascension
● Hovering over a recruited Hero will display its name
● Some bug fixes

[h3]Season 3 has started![/h3][p][/p][p]Participate in the Season 3 event of Tap Ninja and start a new Ninja run in the lifeless wastelands![/p][p]Complete various seasonal tasks to unlock The Frozen King - Scorn skin and The Barren Peaks background![/p][p](The cosmetics are temporarily exclusive!)[/p][p][/p][p]Be warned that this is an endurance Season - your Ninja is not able to increase it's Speed Step in the cold, and barely any enemies can be encountered in these wastelands![/p][p][/p][p]Season 3 is active from January 2nd to February 3rd![/p]

[p]Yet another year passes while another begins.[/p][p][/p]
Let's take a look at how 2025 went for Tap Ninja:
[p]This year's most notable addition to the game was the Seasonal game mode (previously know as "Dimensions"). This new feature added the ability for players to start an almost fresh new game on every new Season's start with unique game modifiers featured for each one, and to race to finish the listed tasks.[/p][p]Players seemed to like the new feature, so more development time was contributed towards it by making each Season more unique from the rest and by adding a dedicated Seasonal upgrade tree with the v7.1.0 update![/p][p][/p][p]This year Tap Ninja saw the addition of a feature that was in our faces since the game launched - you could now TAP your Ninja! Begone autoclickers, welcome the prolonged Energy bar with tapping as its generator.[/p][p][/p][p]The game had a massive gamebreaking exploit added with one of the updates. While the majority of players didn't even notice any changes, a few unlucky of you had to have their save files rolled back by a little bit due to a bad messup on my part (my apologies about that once again!)
[/p][p]We contributed over $10'000 to Save the Children charity during the Tap Ninja's 4 year anniversary event![/p][p]

Let's take a look at what 2025 did not bring:
[p]In-game leaderboards, or any online feature: The update that was promised so long ago. I can say that the leaderboards were experimented on prior to starting work on the Seasonal game, there were more issues than I was expecting so this update has been pushed once again even further into the future.[/p][p][/p][p]Artefacts: This feature is still on the horizon and will likely be the main update scheduled for 2027 and will tie in with the main feature of whats to come in 2026[/p][p][/p][p]A new Horseman enemy: The new main game enemy had to be pushed back once more and will be featured with the v8.0.0 update in 2026.[/p][p][/p][p]Personal Dojo: Still on the horizon, and keep on reading.[/p][p][/p]
Let's take a look at what 2026 will bring:
[p]The next major update for Tap Ninja will be v8.0.0 with the most notable addition to it being the Personal Dojo - trade your katana for a hammer and take a well deserved rest from the endless running in your own personal place. Clear out your long forgotten ancestral home of rubble and make a house a home.[/p][p]More information will follow, eventually, at some point in 2026.[/p][p][/p][p]Have a nice and fulfilling 2026! Tap Ninja v7.1.10 is live!

Seasons will now start 14 hours after the weekly reset, instead of it starting right after the weekly reset!
● More Seasonal tree upgrades
● Seasonal Upgrades can now be upgraded at any point of the game (newly acquired points can still only be used with the next Season)
● Away income slightly buffed
● Randomness fixed for the ultimately last time
● Unlocking a Pet slot in a Seasonal game now requires having the appropriate Bond level from the unlocked Pets instead of the unlock being universal
● The achievement with the requirements of "Throw 5 Shuriken Vortexes without hitting any enemy" has been made more possible with the 'Ascend & use Vortex ability' strategy
● Improve the performance speed of the number formatter
● Removed the excessive numbers from the illegally obtained 'Riddles completed' statistic
● The arrow buttons in the Hero profile window are now hidden while the dye category is active
● Some other bug fixes
