Transparent Ground for Shadow etc.

Shadow Function


Added transparent ground that can project a shadow with respect to Y-coordinate 0.



Changing the color tint or transparency to the shadow changes the parameters of the transparent ground material.

They do not interfere with the shadows reflected in the Props.

Also, it cannot be used in conjunction with Point Light in Props.

If you know of a transparency shader that can also render shadows from Point Light, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.

Shadow from Point Light


Create shadows with Point Light.

The shadows of Point Light are now projected on objects placed with Props.



As mentioned above, this is not compatible with the transparent ground shader for shadows, so please turn off the shadow function when using Point Light.

Other Changes
  • Pose registration to shortcut keys to Shift+1~9,A~Z

[Version3.4.8] Various changes to the Props System

Thanks for using my app!!

To implement the save scene feature, I first restructured the code about Props.



In addition to just refactoring the code, I have also implemented the following additional features

  • Separation of Props selection and property operations
  • Undo and Redo of Transform Gizmo
  • Transform editing when UI is hidden
  • Replace Props function
  • Ability to hide Props
  • blendshape slider for props(fbx/glb)

I updated my logo.

When I opened my Steam account, I did not know how long I would continue this activity.

But thankfully, more people than I expected are using the VRM Posing Desktop, and together with you all, I have been able to continue updating the application to this point.

I have decided to continue to work under the name Evelyn GameDev for the long term, so I have reworked my logo.



Each character is created in 8 bits, and symbols are created in 16 bits.

By arranging them to form a cuboid, I tried to express "respect for retro games" and "my challenge to 3D".

Next year, if VRoid SDK supports VRM 1.0, I would like to develop other games and applications that can load VRM.

I will continue to do my best to create helpful products for you.

My Dream

Thank you for everything.

I love creating something.
And I think everyone who uses this app is the same as me.

The philosophy of my activities is to help people involved in creative activities.

I went to an economics university but dropped out to become a Manga artist.

However, I gave that up and got a job at a design office.

A few years later, I met Unity and my life changed.

My dream for the near future


I will continue to develop new products in the future while continuing to update VRM Posing Desktop with less frequency.

I want to work on game development, which has always been a dream of mine.

And within a few years, I would like to open a production studio overseas.

I hope one day to work on a cool project like Cyberpunk, which became Netflix anime.


For this purpose, I will study 3D technology further and learn English hard.
