Grimlord v1.0.5 hotfix2

  1. Fixed the problem that the amount of gold coins obtained by challenging the boss again will be restored to a fixed amount.
  2. Fixed the problem that Fedelixia was stuck in certain time periods.
  3. Fixed the problem that some combat actions were shelved.

Grimlord v1.0.5 hotfix

- Fixed an issue where the barrier of re-challenging a BOSS could not be opened.
- Fixed an issue where Fedelixia would cancel its attack and reroute its actions when blocked by a pillar.
- Fixed an issue where the hint for the final ending could not be displayed properly.
- Fixed an issue where boss drops could get stuck in walls and become uncollectable (this issue did not affect material acquisition or part unlocking).

Dear Brave Adventurers,


It has been two months since the official launch of the game, and we are actively working to address various issues highlighted by the community. We are also steadily developing new content.

In this significant update, we addressed the frequently raised issue of lost weapons. Now, when a player's character dies, all dropped weapons will be retrieved by Pech and respawned near the resurrection point. You won't need to rummage through the monastery anymore. Please note that this feature will not activate if you use the teleport feature, to avoid a situation where a bunch of weapons rain down on you every time you arrive at a teleport point. Overall, this adjustment will greatly enhance the gameplay experience. We welcome any further suggestions and encourage you to participate in the community discussions.



Furthermore, we have increased the frequency of physics calculations. We have also addressed the issue of weapon penetration through monsters, which Meta Quest players have reported. While it's hard to eliminate this issue for now, our testing indicates that only high-speed and short attacks may be missed. We hope these improvements will enhance the experience for Meta Quest users.



In terms of future plans, we are intensifying our preparations for the arena mode, along with a storyline and quests that complement this mode. The arena will be an extension of the main storyline, featuring its own narrative threads that are still connected to the main plot. The rewards obtained from the arena will also help us explore the main storyline more effectively.

  • Weapon Recovery Mechanism: Weapons dropped upon a player's death near the respawn point, the navigation station.
  • New Boss State - The Guardian: Players can now knock off the Guardian's helmet, allowing headshots that deal increased damage.
  • UI Hint for Skipping Cutscenes: Introduced a UI prompt for players to skip cutscene animations.


[h2]Improvements[/h2]
  • Physics Enhancements: Improved the frequency of physical related to hands and weapons, reducing the failed swing physics.
  • Collision Feedback for Enemies: Enhanced the physical collision response from certain enemies.
  • Post-Processing Effects: Upgraded post-processing effects to improve visual quality (SteamVR).
  • Change: The default grip point for the Dueling Sword has been adjusted.
  • Change: Summoned enemies no longer drop Matter.
  • Change: The Matter acquisition rate for each NG+ tier has been reduced from 50% to 20%.

  • Chapter Two Taskline: Resolved a rare issue causing interruptions in the taskline for Chapter Two.
  • Translation Errors: Fixed several translation errors.
  • Weapon Lock Issue: Corrected the problem where a player’s weapon would become locked in space after the character's death.

v1.0.4 Localization Hotfix Beta - German, French, Spanish, and Korean

We know how important localization of German, French, Spanish, and Korean is to our community, and we've heard your requests for improvements loud and clear. Our team has dedicated a significant amount of time to enhance the localization experience, ensuring that it meets the high standards you've been guaranteed.

To ensure stability and gather valuable feedback, we’re excited to announce that this update has been released on our Beta Channel. We encourage you to join us in testing these improvements!


[h2]How to Access the Beta Channel[/h2]
  1. Right-click on Grimlord in your Library: Locate Grimlord in your game library.
  2. Select Properties: From the context menu, choose the Properties option.
  3. Find the Beta Tab: Click on the Beta tab in the properties window.
  4. Select 'v1.0.4hotfix01': In the dropdown menu for beta participation, select 'v1.0.4hotfix01'.

Grimlord v1.0.4 Update



Dear Brave Adventurers,


It's been a while since the game's release, and we’ve received a lot of feedback since then. We appreciate Grimlord and the entire community as a whole, and a significant part of it has been positive.

Thank you sincerely for your support! We are committed to ongoing optimization and content updates because this is a long-term endeavor that doesn't end with the game's launch.

We are proud to have a highly active community where players engage, explore, and share valuable suggestions. We’ve also noted various issues players have encountered. Many have expressed that spell casting is difficult to use and ineffective.

In response, we've improved the tutorial for the spell casting, and buffed the mana damage. Additionally, some new players found certain early-game enemies quite challenging, so we’ve made adjustments to make sure everyone can get through the first 2 levels in an easier way.

However, this doesn’t mean defeating enemies will be easy; you will still need to be fully engaged in the combat!

Looking ahead, we are strictly following our roadmap. Soon, you can expect the introduction of arena quests and a dedicated arena mode, along with a new enhancement system. These changes will provide new players with better progression paths and offer more enjoyment for those with multiple New Game+ runs. We are also excited to soon support modkits, which are nearly ready for use.

This will bring a whole new world to the game, and we can't wait to see the creativity players will unleash!

  • Slightly reduced the mana consumption for all spells.

  • Reduced enemy armor's damage reduction from slashing attacks from 60% to 40%.
  • Reduced the increase in slashing damage to enemy flesh from 150% to 120%.
  • Slightly reduced the health of zombies.
  • Slightly reduced the health of human enemies.
  • Increased the movement speed of the Vanguard Warrior’s armor from 450 to 540.
  • The damage of the Black Order Magister's skills is now correctly calculated in the New Game+ playthrough.
  • The damage of the Elder Race's skills is now correctly calculated in the New Game+ playthrough.
  • The damage of the Hollowed One's skills is now correctly calculated in the New Game+ playthrough.
  • The damage of the Siamese's skills is now correctly calculated in the New Game+ playthrough.
  • The damage of Fedelixia's skills is now correctly calculated in the New Game+ playthrough.
  • The skill damage of the Goblin Hero is now correctly calculated in the New Game+ playthrough.
  • Fixed the bug with the Stone Golem boss getting stuck at the lower doors
