Golfing In Aether Update Released [Alpha 1.0.1]
Thank you to all those of you who have played the game so far or turned out to watch the livestream. I hope to run additional livestreams this week so keep an eye out for those.

Patch Notes
[h2]General[/h2]
- Added a primitive out of bounds check which will check for the surface you come to a stop on with some levels. This won’t be a do-all solution as this really needs to be developed properly over time.
- Fixed collisions being a bit sensitive if you launch balls at the same time, it will now take 0.1 seconds for collisions to enable with an additional check state performed to account for latency of some players. Let me know if this is still an issue as it can be revisited.
- Fixed time awards for out of time events, for some reason full time was awarded. This has no effect on leaderboards as even with these points you’d still be sitting at D Rank.
- Fixed an exploit relating to xp gain via Practice mode.
[h2]Environment[/h2]
- Fixed an issue with getting stuck in one of the holes on “Pick A Hole” Level.
- Fixed minor geometry issues on various levels relating to background scenery.
- Fixed some walls and out of bounds geometry having the incorrect restitution due to combine mode override being incorrectly handled for these surfaces, this is especially noticeable on “Hole In Fun” level. This was also quite prominent in the lower section of “Crazy Golf”.
- Fixed placement of the rear wall section in “Go for it” level.
[h2]Interface[/h2]
- Added rework to the leaderboard screen on scoreboard to better fit players names and be consistent in style with the leaderboard already found via the Practice menu and other menus in general.
- Added a small performance optimization to the intitial scoreboard opening.
- Fixed player names extending out of leaderboard entry slots, names will now be cropped if too long to fit.
- Fixed an ability to hover select leaderboard items on the scoreboard, which has no functional purpose.
- Fixed having the game menu open while scoreboard appears no longer being able to exit it. Any open menus will be force closed.
- Fixed some weird totalling going on with total stores vs the par values on the detailed scoreboard mode.
- Fixed a couple padding issues relating to the session browser.
