Demo Changes Coming Soon (Balance Changes, Bug Fixes, etc.)
Hi everyone, quick update on Pipkin's demo - we're working on numerous balance changes and bug fixes which will be listed below. We'll make another update once these changes have been added, but we will be taking our time to make sure everything is thoroughly tested.
Here are some changes we'll be making the following changes to the game's balancing:
* Max HP for all characters will be reduced by ~15% - defense stats will also be lowered slightly, reducing the tankiness of high-defense characters.
* The effectiveness of stall tactics such as evasion, healing, reviving, etc. will be nerfed. Enemy Ai will also be updated to use those moves less frequently.
* Boss battle difficulty will be lowered
* Some overpowered moves (such as revive and new bloom) will cost more energy to use. A few miscellaneous moves will also be updated, or get description changes to clarify their effects
* Some class / type combinations for player characters will get updated move sets. Class / type combinations that are a bit weak right now will get stronger and more diverse move pools
As for bug fixes, we will be fixing all of the bugs that have been reported, including ones which were making the battle Ui not function properly. We'll also be fixing the reported crashes and playtesting thoroughly to make sure they're gone.
